I read about that last night. I vaguely remember the name but didn't know much about him.

RIP.

Don't panic - he isn't really dead (or is he?) - I just thought I'd put this conspiracy theory here. This started long before the Internet so you can't blame that for all conspiracy theories.

Just three of many links about it.

Sad to hear Brian Cant has died. Remember Play School so well, watched every episode with my son. Big Ted, Little Ted, Humpty and Jemima and going through the round window was so gentle and appropriate for little children. At the time Brian seemed to be the mainstay to me, probably because of his voice and smile. Goodness I'm surprised I remember it so well... RIP Brian.

Those of us of a certain age will remember this wild child of the 1960s, Anita Pallenberg.

No idea. I've not actually heard the name of Michael Bond before, RIP.

The only Bond I've heard of is James.

Must be someone quite old as Paddington has been around for a long time. A guess; Richard Wilson.

I think the manufacture of the famous booted bears started in the early 1970s when the celebrity was a child so he is younger than Richard Wilson.

I presume that you know of Pan's People though, Andrew - the reason why so many dads in the 1970s watched Top of The Pops!

I remember them well, everyone tried to copy their dancing. Now when you look at the videos it all looks so tame, so rubbishy.

So sad, 3 of the ladies have now sadly died, 2 in their early 60's and this latest lady at 70. So half the group have sadly died. It is just these sort of ladies that I would have said would have reached a ripe old age, all being so fit, dancing, eating well to keep slim and fit. Very sad.
