The best part of his career was a bit before my time. I've seen his brother Dave play loads of times of though.

I'll add a story which relates to Paul Young indirectly.

Many years ago I worked with a young girl; I don't mean to be unkind but she was rather plain, plump and not very bright. She was mad on Paul Young and, to her delight, had a boyfriend who bore quite a strong resemblance to him.

My other colleagues were a bit suspicious of him as Linda (not her real name) had inherited some money from a grandparent and we did wonder if that's what Simon (again not his name) was more interested in. He was a bit older and I think had been married before.

It turned out that we were right, he cleared the lot out and vanished.

I heard from Linda about 10 years ago and she was then happily married with a child so she did manage to get her life back on track.

Its not written any where when you are expected to go.

That's true but I associate the term "natural causes" with the deaths of much older people.

Having said that though, that was the verdict for George Michael who was also 53.

Death by natural causes can be associated with an ongoing illness or internal malfunction apparently. I can't put up the link cos am on tablet atm.
