Yes Freedom, my money is on he will remain an MP, let's hope I'm wrong on this too. How anyone can be 'Chair' of a select committee that supposedly challenges the use of drugs and prostitution is beyond belief. He has too many friends who will come to his aid in all this, in my opinion.

"I've had chance to read what many people have to say about Operation Conifer - the investigation into child abuse allegations concerning Edward Heath - and the overall theme appears to be 'why do we keep accusing people when they are dead?'
Well, maybe it's because when MPs are alive - and allegations are hanging over them - they find numerous support in dodging the system.
I want to address Keith Vaz. Indeed we need to talk about Keith. This is a man who absolutely has MANY questions to answer about his behaviour and about what he may, or may not, know about Parliamentary abuse.
The way Labour have gathered around this man is shocking. Plus, the way Vaz felt that he could muscle in on a police inquiry that had NOTHING to do with him is shocking.
Let me tell you a story.
A few months ago I received an email from an anonymous recipient. He attached a very threatening letter from Carter Ruck - leading libel lawyers - who had been instructed by Keith Vaz to pursue this person.
Why? Because this person had set up a petition - in the wake of various Vaz scandals - asking for Councillors in Vaz's Leicester constituency to investigate if there was any truth in the rumours as suggested in a national newspaper...this was far beyond him meeting with consenting men and wanting to acquire drugs...Vaz was not happy about the petition and so Carter Ruck came into play.
Further, CR told the petition holder that he must not tell anyone about the letter. Well, he told me and he shared it with Andrew Bridgen - one of the few MPs who has been prepared to call out Vaz in Parliament.
And now I am telling you all.
So, Keith Vaz may be an entirely innocent man but we won't know while he is still being protected by his party - and the House of Parliament machinery - from further investigation.

I make no accusations against Keith Vaz, I simply use him as an example of someone who is still alive while allegations are swirling around. Let's not keep allowing Parliamentarians to die before we question what they may know".
