A FORMER cop who previously accused Maddie McCann’s parents of faking her abduction is set to release a second controversial book targeting the involvement of British police.
Goncalo Amaral has almost finished his second book, but although it is expected to centre around the 2008 disappearance of Maddie in Algarave, Portugal, it is unclear what details the author will release.
The 56-year-old author previously wrote The Truth Of The Lie in 2008, which accused her parents Kate and Gerry McCann of faking Maddie’s abduction.
But the couple have previously been left reeling after having their £395,000 libel victory revoked by Lisbon appeal judges who overturned a ban on his book in April.
To add insult to injury, Amaral also is planning to sue the couple for compensation after winning his appeal.
Amaral is understood to have earned £316,000 from his book before it was banned.
In the book, Amaral claimed that Madeleine, who was three when she disappeared from the family’s Algarve holiday apartment, had died in the flat and they had faked her abduction to cover up the tragedy.
The book was released just three days after Gerry, 48, and Kate, from Leicester, were told their status as arguidos or formal suspects had been lifted on July 21, 2008.
During court proceedings, Kate McCann, 48, described Amaral’s first book as “devastating and distressing”

I think you need to choose a better rag than the lying scum for your reading,lets not forget the lies it told over Hillsborough,also the same rag had to pay out a substantial sum to Elton John over lies,what a track record.

What a bad decision of Dr Amaral's in not having Tony as his co-author to keep him on the right track!
Here's what Tony said.
His book, to be really worthwhile, will need to include:
1. The deliberate Nuno Lourenco deception and his bogus identification of Wojchech Krokowski
2. All the evidence which alleges that the Last Photo was taken on the Sunday
3. Evidence provided by Dr Martin Roberts that Madeleine's pyjamas were photographed by the McCanns on 3 May and then shown to the press and TV on 5 and 7 June 2007, along with claims that they were Amelie's pyjamas
4. Doubts about the witness statement of Mrs Fenn,
5. Doubts about the claims of the Smiths - and all the doubts about the true provenance of those strange two e-fits, and
6. The lack of evidence that has since emerged about the reliability of the evidence of Catriona Baker and Charlotte Pennington about Madeleine being at the 'high tea' on 3 May.
Otherwise we will be little further forward.

Just had a look to see if anyone else apart from the Sun are picking up this story but they aren't.
All quick as a flash to get the 'ghoul tour' story out there but all quiet as a mouse in mentioning Goncalo's second book.
So even though I immensely dislike the Sun, good on them for getting this out there.

I hope Dr. Amaral manages to get an English translation of the book published, even if not for sale in the UK: there will be many in OG/SY and other high places with egg on their faces; otherwise, the MSM will just present the book as Portuguese propaganda, without presenting any of the details it contains.
Maybe TPTB will decide to preempt it's publication by taking action against the McCanns, but that seems unlikely - they've taken every step so far to hide, I believe, a very senior person's involvement.

Hi Andrew, as AndrewB posted, I think it's a member of the Royal Family: the alllegience of the police and security services are to the Crown - not the British people - and the farcical antics of OG and apparent involvement of MI all suggest to me that is the root. Beyond that, I cannot identify the likely culprit - except to say I don't imagine its the Queen or Prince Phillip!

If all the evidence about the deceased royal is that he was on the boat with three young boys - that's all I've heard about anyway - it seems a lot less suspicious when you remember that one was the boat boy and the other two were his grandsons who were there with their parents!!

I mentioned the boat disaster only for reference. I do think there is other knowledge of occurrences, but "evidence", physical evidence, frequently doesn't exist in such cases.
