I don't think that there will be the usual accusations as in other cases that doubters are mad conspiracy theorists!

Very difficult to say. The insurers would probably wait for the outcome of the police investigation before handing over any cash. Also, with such high value items, there would be special conditions written into the policy and they would be looking at whether any of those were breached.

Thanks chrissie. I shall imagine the insurers won't be too quick to be wanting to hand over any cash. If at all if they can find a way that breaches the policy.

There was a robbery a couple of years ago at the home of Kerry Katona (who's she? - she was married to a member of boyband westlife and in a group called Atomic kitten).

At the time of the robbery Ms Katona had remarried, to someone else with apparently a rather dodgy past and neither of them had much money at the time. I think the revenue were pursuing her.

I don't know if the insurance ever paid up as like the Kardashian case it was all so convenient to have a robbery when you are in debt but well insured, and robbed by professionals who have done their reseach, real professionals like the ones who robbed the Mccanns of Maddie and never left any forensic evidence of their visit.

I can't find anything recent on the robbery at Kerry Katona's house so don't know if the insurance company paid up.

Here's a report at the time.

I hope that the "experts" are named so that their past history can be checked! I wonder if Messrs Edgar and Cowley are free at the moment to offer their services.

Have the Kardashians yet set up a Fund to administer the search for the villains who took their money/jewellry?

Utterly necessary to do this as quickly as possible after the 'crime.'

Has Kim refused to answer some or all of the questions put to her by the police?

Is she looking for an interview on the Lorraine Kelly show?

When is Kim's book coming out and will it have a quote from Kate McCann on the cover ?- 'I empathise with Kim so much, she lost it all and she didn't even go out on the piss as we did leaving her home a soft target.'

... She filed a £4.5 million pound claim 5 days after the robbery.

She fled away within hours back to the U.S (so presumably wasn't that cooperative with the Police questioning)

No doubt the will turn up on some sofa sooner or later with her 'my side of the story exclusive'.

I'm sure a book is currently being planned to back fit and explain away any discrepancies.

Kate McCann will probably be angling for a part in the next series of 'Keeping up with the Kardashians'.

Andrew, I think Gerry McCann should also have a cameo role in the next Kardashian series.

Imagine a scene between him and Kanye West empathising with one another about their losses.

I hope their people will be able to put together a package sufficient to get the McCanns to appear on the show. Imagine the viewing figures if part of the contract was that Kim would put to Kate f the 48 questions she wouldn't answer in Portugal?

And if Kate then got arrested live on the show....

Selling the podcast of the show with the live arrest could make a big dent in the (alleged) Kardashian debts.

To be fair, the website is one of the trashiest I've ever seen.

http://mediatakeout.com/

It's the same one that published claims that Brad Pitt was physically and verbally abusive to his children.

I certainly agree though that generally anyone who sues publications for disputing nonsensical "accounts of the truth" has something to hide.

The vast majority of the many comments on the article doubt her story and I dont think it was the article that persuaded them her story is rubbish.

I agree the publication is really bad. In its defence, the publishers can argue it is a satirical publication and that everyone knows that.

Very interesting and obviously they're a little strapped for cash Very Happy

This comment sums it up for me:

KPK1, Cardiff, United Kingdom, 46 minutes ago
This is unfolding exactly as i predicted in my comment just after the event went public! Jewelry not put in a safe, no security inside the hotel or the apartment, no evidence of forced entry through a bomb proof door, no CCTV footage, parents in Paris but staying at a different hotel, Khloe called the bodyguard who was in a nightclub with other family members instead of the police, left Paris within hours after the event and didn't stay to help the investigation, bodyguard going bankrupt! Come on we are not as stupid as these two think. The insurers will make mincemeat of them in court and good job too!!
