If anything happened before too many involved, and lying involved by witnesses, I don't believe that at all.  Who here would lie in the case of a missing girl and the consequences should you be caught out?

Yes, whatever happened happened that night.

I wonder who the 9 voters for that one are, Andrew!

Madeleine's disappearance - Which of the following theories is the most ABSURD?

1. Stolen by a Europe-based paedophile gang (Operation Grange Theory B)
 5%
[ 2 ]
2. Madeleine opened the patio door, walked down the steps and down the road (Mark Williams-Thomas)
 5%
[ 2 ]
3. Murdered during a burglary-gone-wrong (Operation Grange Theory A)
 19%
[ 8 ]
4. Died in her parents' apartment and parents hid the body (Goncalo Amaral and other researchers).
 21%
[ 9 ]
5. Theories (1), (2) and (3) are all equally absurd
50%
(21)

.... I also think that if Goncalo's book/thesis was way off the mark and what he said didn't happen at all (but something else did and prior), then the McCann's would not have spent millions trying to silence/ban it...

They just would've let him run with it knowing themselves that there's no proof/evidence of that scenario so it could be easily dismissed regardless. (and still have a few Mill in the bank)

They couldn't though could they.

IMO etc.

No idea, Freedom, but no doubt they all begin with S and end in ocks.

What's also 'absurd' is that OG don't believe for one minute that it's a trafficking gang or a bungled burglary.... Show me one statement in the last 18 months or so where OG on record have said that?

And I don't mean any of the guff coming out from Tracey K et al in various papers like the Sun.

I like this bit - MWT is now classed together by dear old Tracey with G Amaral!

At a time when two ex cops have continued to heap more misery on her family, she has spared time to consider other missing children and adults.

But he is not linked with Gonçalo....especially by them as he has voiced his opinion freely with no action by parents.....infact if he is linked to anyone it is Danny Collins who first purported the theory being used by MWT ....who again said it and more with no actions against him...strange isnt it!

Hope you got to link on textusa blog above!?

the Jodie marsh article ban is quite odd. She was commissioned to write it with the publisher knowing it is a controversial subject. therefore her article would have been carefully read for libel by the in house legal team. So why cancel the commission?

She does not say she wrote it, submitted it and then they told her it wasn't going in. Sometimes 'celebrities' who are semi literate write columns but they are heavily edited to make them read OK.

Maybe Jodie isn't the most literate, but the tweeting support she received told the publisher an article by her (even if they had to rewrite for literacy and libel) would sell more copies. So the only reason for pulling has to be threats by the Mccanns.....

I read the first bit of this. Nowhere could I see why a review was carried out, or who commissioned it. Presumably Wiiliams-Thomas did this off his own bat and it was not requested by either UK or Portuguese police authorities .

Jodie MarshVerified account‏@JodieMarsh ·

They said their lawyers had "raised some concerns" - it was an article simply stating the FACTS & MY opinion. Why did they NEED to stop it??

Jodie MarshVerified account‏@JodieMarsh · 1h1 hour ago

If I had been commissioned to write an article about ANY other person in the public eye, it would never have been pulled.

Jodie MarshVerified account‏@JodieMarsh · 1h1 hour ago

@waynefoy because I'm the only one with the balls to do it. And I've researched the whole case & read every file etc

I agree; he did if off his own bat as something to list on his CV.  I doubt if he had it peer reviewed!

he plays down the dogs and says the portuguese put too much emphasis on them - says they (the dogs) cant be challenged critically as human witnesses can be...

Now he clearly does know the timeline of the evening madeleine officially vanished so how he said on ITV that he believes she woke up in the midnight hours and went off looking for her parents is beyond me.

the Mccanns arrived at the Tapas bar at 8.30 so the children were asleep then. gerry checks all three at 9.05 so all the children were asleep then. Now if she woke up it has to be between say 9.10 and 9.55pm. In waking up and leaving the apt she might well have woken up the twins by for example tripping in the darkness.  She could also have been upset, woken with a bad dream and crying. So if she left the apartment shortly after Gerry left would she not have found her dad outside chatting to Jeremy Wilkins or bumped into Jane tanner doing her own checks? - or  if she left a little later would she not have bumped into matt Oldfield either coming or going? Finally if she left shortly before 10pm would she not have met her mum coming to check her at 10pm?

Does MWT find it credible that in the tiny window of opportunity after matt returned to the tapas bar and while Kate was still there, that Madeleine got herself safely down the steps from the apartment to the road below and there just happened to meet a dodgy character who whisked her away without her crying or screaming and nobody saw or heard anything?

Agree with you Antonia! He's proved in this 'review' that he knows the TL of the night & there is no way imo, Madeleine could have woke & wandered in that time.
I asked him on Twitter last night, if he had changed his mind about the dogs in the 7-8 years since he wrote his review but of course, got no reply!

Just catching up on this Jodie stuff firstly scratch

Seems strange... What was she supposed to be writing an article about (exactly about) for starters?

A quick google search and this has come out a couple of hours ago from the Heat magazine. Although it says it's from them, the link actually directs to the below, which I believe is the same as I posted up yesterday:

http://lifestyle.one/closer/celebrity/news/jodie-marsh-twitter-kate-gerry-mccann-madeleine-morning-tv/

If there is one thing Jodie likes then that's attention and publicity and all of a sudden she seems to have got that in abundance.

The cynic in me smells a bit of a rat. A very tiny one but one all the same.

Will come back to it. scratch

WT Associates is a company set up by MW-T and his wife on the 12th of June 2007.

When did he say he first went to the 'scene' in PDL?

And totally agree with others that this 'report' he did was all off his own back but clearly in the aim to profit from it. Now who would pay him for that and where would this 'report' actually go....
