Portuguese police fear the youngster died accidentally in the seaside resort’s sought-after property.

But her parents believe she was kidnapped while they were dining in a nearby tapas bar with pals, and could still be alive.

I find the way things are being reported have changed so much. With the comments we have seen on various articles, who are the public going to be more inclined to believe?

I read that the aprtement was sold to this lady a few years ago ,seems we have just heard about it . As an aside ,has anyone read mail last week that had an article about the RSA forensics have been in trouble ,for the techies playing around with DN,,and the dna said one thing ,posative samples . Problems is that they feel a lot of people could be in prison because of this false readings .There were 3 places one Manchester,London and cant recall the 3rd name . Well what if and I don't know how long this had been going on ,but when mr amaral said at first they heard over phone I think That dna was positive for maddie ,then it changed when the notice came back ,and said not sure etc etc . or worse .Its just so hard to realize such people with responsible work ,would play about for sake of their Ego . joyce1938

The supposed sale date (years and years ago) doesn't agree with all previous articles about the apartment.

Here's just one from 2012 (no way is that years and years ago) when it was still unsold. The Smiths are mentioned!

That's a really interesting article. Also mentions Antonio Castela, he taxi driver who took the Maddie lookalike with the coloboma and 4 adults near to Faro where they got into the jeep.

And also quotes Haynes Hubbard as saying Kate visits every 6 months to walk the streets. Really? And Gerry doesn't. There's a surprise.

Beyond fascinating how far people will to go to try to deny that something bad that has happened has nothing to do with them and is all to do with someone else...amazing.....

The pair are entirely unconvincing....imo.

What a load of crap the MSM write.....

Portuguese police are pretty sure the child died I would imagine.....probably clocked from the very  beginning that the TM story was a pile of manure...but TM were so arrogant and stupid, imo, that they thought they could get away with xenophobic pile of whatnot.

Such a bad reflection on this group of so-called professionals..

IMO.

ETA: Isn't it incredible that this group of so-called professionals educated at the expense of the British tax-payers were so unbelievably arrogant about the police force of another country who, from the very beginning, imo, knew they - this group of so-called professionals - were all talking sh**...
