Madeleine McCann: Missing Maddie now 13 and looks like THIS


MADELEINE McCann has been missing for a decade – and may now look like this.

Maddie’s parents, Kate and Gerry, released an age-progressed image of how she might have looked aged six in 2009 and Scotland Yard commissioned another one in 2012, when she would have been nine.
But little girls grow up fast and her appearance may have changed considerably in the past five years.

Portrait artist Dr D’Lynn Waldron – who has created age-progressed images for the FBI – suggests we should now be looking for girl who looks like this.
Daily Star Online has sent the image to the McCanns.

Dr Waldron says the two key features that would help identify a girl as Maddie are the distinctive dark strip on the iris of her right eye – which will never change – and her ears – which won’t change until she is in her 60s.
She told Daily Star Online: “The two identifiers are the anomaly in the right eye and the shape of her ears – two things that will not change.”
The expert, who is based in California, pictured Maddie with her hair up so her ears are visible, and also paid particular attention to her nose, chin and teeth

She said: “In the McCanns’ search, not one of the images they used shows her ears.
“The ears are how I can immediately eliminate a match with anyone under 60 and ears are an excellent thing to look for since they do not change until over 60, or older.
“I found a picture of her as a baby that shows her ears and I used that as reference for my artwork, in which her hair is pulled loosely back in a pony tail.

“It is almost certain she will have her mother's teeth, so that was my reference. She has her mother's chin.
“Her nose is not like either of her parents, but easy to see what it will be.”

Police have described Madeleine, who was from Rothley, in Leicestershie, as blonde haired, with blue and green eyes, a small brown spot on her left calf and a distinctive dark strip on the iris of her right eye.
A holidaymaker claims she Maddie in Morocco on May 9, 2007 – six days after she vanished in Portugal.
The woman – who asked not to be named – told Daily Star Online the girl looked distressed and asked the man she was with: “Can we go see mummy now?”

A TV show claims to have unearthed a unearthed a fresh lead into the youngster’s disappearance – and will reveal all on telly this weekend.
Current affairs show Sunday Night, to be broadcast on Channel 7 in Australia, have released a teaser clip promising a “landmark television event”.
A nanny who looked after Maddie several times for the McCanns in the Algarve resort has described how Kate and Gerry were distraught after their daughter went missing from their apartment as they dined with friends at a restaurant 180ft away.

Scotland Yard launched a new investigation into her disappearance, Operation Grange, in 2011 but it was scaled back in 2011.
Dectives involved in the probe – which has cost more than £11million – have investigated more than 8,000 potential sightings, taken 1,338 statements, collected 1,027 exhibits, and investigated 650 sex offenders and 60 persons of interest.
It has funding to continue until at least this September.
Daily Star Online has contacted representatives for Kate and Gerry McCann.

It doesn't seem too unbelievable to me - not in comparison to the usual standard of McCann stories anyway..

I thought it was a cartoon character when I first saw it the other day or whenever it was.

I first saw it as Tony's new avatar which was a bit of a shock!
