Unyielding Austerity and Scrapping of the Human Rights Act

I'm rather relieved at the scrapping of the Yuman Rights Act as hammered out by Booth and her erstwhile teacher. One of the results was a multiple rapist who was an illegal immigrant getting more or less what he wanted as it would have been so hard on him to be sent back where he came from.  Several other such cases are known from the Labour luvvies.
Is everybody forgetting that Blair is a multi-millionair?  Not seen any recent charities having benefitted from his riches - the very least he could do is donate to Stoke Mandeville and similar hospitals where the maimed soldiers go who fought his pointless wars.

It was Labour who opened the borders of the UK to all comers. People have voted because they've had enough of fake socialism. Sorry, but as a long-time spectator of UK politics I'm amazed that anyone would want to touch New labour with a barge pole. Old time labour was genuine, Barbara Castle, Joe Gormley and so on. I would not agree with them, but they were honest. Like Robin Cook and many Labour MPs who did what they could under New Labour. The big financial crash is entirely due to Labour, happened under Labour and is the main reason for the present financial situation.

I know of two examples of people who've happily been draining the coffers of councils for decades. One woman, perfectly fit, except 'anxious' now mid fifties, hasn't worked for 35 years, lives in a farmhouse in idyllic surroundings, (four bedrooms) and when she inherited a house and 60.000 pounds, went through the lot, sold the house and was amazed that the council would not pay the nearly 900 rent p.m. whilst she had money of her own. So spent it on amongst other 200 pairs of shoes and back on benefits.
Her boyfriend has a free flat, smokes, drinks, has had a major operation to save his leg (due to drinking and smoking) now smokes and drinks a couple of bottle of cider a day.
Add up the cost of these two people a year and you could help quite a few decent people who've fallen by the wayside.
When the government wanted to bring in a debit card for families with which you can only buy food, not alcohol or cigarettes, these two were on the radio phone-in saying it was a scandal and so on.

Yes, I'm following and re-tweeting both the anti hunt and the badger tweets. I wish somebody would start at the other end: nobody ever talks about the dogs who have a rotten life, are often shot after only three years.
People would become much more anti fox hunt if they knew the life of those dogs. Imo that would help.

Same with the badgers, the tweeters were sure that Ed Milliband was going to stop the gassing of badgers - their cause is right imo - but there's imo no guarantee at all that Milliband would do what he promised. Defra and co have messed up for years, particularly with the foot and mouth. Two friends of mine did what they could but they knew for certain that Defra was actually making it worse by visiting clean farms.

Foxes keep down rabbits. I lived near a fantastically beautiful 'park' and met foxes quite regularly, hundreds of rabbits around all the same. No problems.

Btw. fox hunting is about 250 years old. Instituted when hunting deer was forbidden. Now that was useful as deer need to be culled, having no natural enemies in the UK. So now they want to introduce wolves again, you can't make it up.

Those are the ones that make the grade, the pups deemed not good hunters are shot after a few months. After their training on fox cubs, starting about now.

And racing dogs are shot, when they don't perform and win their own food money & + anymore.
Worse in Spain e.g. where they're just hung from a tree, not even worth a bullet ...

- and many  hunt followers are labour-voting farmhands, all sorts.  A hunt is an exclusive club, wish they could keep it without having to torture dogs and foxes, bu I keep saying, focus on the dogs and the anti-hunt movement will  have a lot more support.

Btw. My favourite MP of all time is Bob Marshall Brown, read his book 'Off message' and you can see how New labour tried to sell Britain. the chapter on the Greenwich  Globe alone is an eye opener. Compare that with the Crystal Palace costs .. Btw. You're all still paying for that Greenwich thingy..

The death of the NHS
More welfare cuts
Destruction of workers rights
More loyalty to Israel
Cameron will not leave leave the EU (a referendum is just for show)
More cuts to our defence
Lib Dems out of the way so now Teresa May can push through the snooper`s charter.

How come the Tories got in when all the polls before hand were saying it was neck and neck?
Everything changed after the `exit poll`
Was fraud involved? There were IT glitches during voting, Ex-pats didn`t even receive their postal votes
Big rise in postal voting where fraud is easily done.

Lots of us here in Scotland still believe the Referendum vote was rigged.

I saw footage the day after that was supposed to be of a young lad writing something on voting papers. Fix was being claimed but if they bothered to check, the footage wasn't even from the referendum count. There was clearly a sign saying Edinburgh West which was not a designated ward in the referendum.
If the other side had won the unionists would claim fix too.

AFAIK Ruth Davidson is still under Police investigation for vote tampering.

It was very noticeable in Cameron`s (and other Tories, Esther in particular) rhetoric, when talking about `a better life`, they always follow it with `for those that work`. Yes, nothing wrong with that, but they always go on about getting the infirm and disabled back into work. Nothing wrong with that, but what about the people that are too infirm to work. It`s the absence of a provision policy for the really vulnerable that is so noticeable. And how they always make sure they say `for those that work`.

Lord Freud let slip that disabled people aren`t worth the minimum wage and that many of them would be willing to work for £2. an hour. He was chastised for it - well they had to didn`t they.

And of course it would be nice if there were any jobs available for people to `work at` in the first place.

True.

In a way you could also say that Socialism isn`t needed - well, the part of it that was always supposed to be for the Workers - to make their lives a bit more bearable from the excessive greed of their bosses.

There aren`t many `workers` these days like there were in the days of coal miners, the wool and cotton mills, sweat shops, dirty factory work - hardly anyone needed in a factory line these days with all the robotics and computerised systems. Most grotty manufacturing work goes abroad these days and we have immigrants to do the fruit picking, cockle digging, shop work, telesales, waitressing, kitchen hands, porters etc.

But we still have the greedy bosses don`t we, so it`s no wonder we have a forgotten section of society that`s getting sicker and increasing. They`re despised by the likes of Esther McVey and her cohorts.
