PM Insists UK Borders Safe Amid Calais Crisis
Lots of news lately about the Migrant problems in France...

Ok fair enough, its news I suppose....Lets roll back to 2008
EU unveils plans for biometric border controls
https://euobserver.com/justice/25650
The European Commission on Wednesday (13 February) kicked off a lengthy legislative process aimed at tightening up controls on who enters and leaves the 27-nation bloc.
"This package designs a completely new way of controlling our borders", EU home affairs commissioner Franco Frattini said unveiling the three new proposals.
They include an entry/exit register of non-European visitors, a European Border Surveillance System designed to detect those who enter the bloc between border crossing points as well as better use of the EU's border control agency, Frontex.
According to Mr Frattini, "the most advanced technology" will be used to make sure bona fide travellers continue to have access to the Schengen passport-free area but under tougher security conditions.
"We don't have an alternative. It's because of terrorist threats, criminality, paedophile networks. We cannot have them using better technology than police", the Italian commissioner said.
The "most ambitious" of Brussels' plans is the proposal to establish an electronic register, designed to monitor all non-EU nationals admitted to the Schengen zone, starting from 2015.
Migrants not included then ?....They cant prove who they are

Re: PM Insists UK Borders Safe Amid Calais Crisis
I searched the name Franco Fratinni after reading a discussion over the road. His name is also linked to the Amber Alert system.
11. Missing Children Alert: Frattini used the well-known case of Madeleine McCann, a missing British girl, to lay out his intention to develop an EU wide alert system for missing children. Frattini specifically and repeatedly mentioned the Amber Alert system in the U.S. as the model that the EU needed to copy. In addition, the e-Justice Portal, according to Costa, will include a list of missing children and direct users to appropriate Hague Convention resources.

Re: PM Insists UK Borders Safe Amid Calais Crisis
A friend of mine has just come back from Belgium via Calais and Dover. He said he had no time to wait at all, as he was in a car, but the lorries were still being very much delayed. He also said that the delays were not due to migrants! They were due to industrial action by the French ferry workers. That is what is holding up all the lorries, which of course then becomes a magnet for the illegal migrants. Apparently the reports by the BBC are completely inaccurate - so no surprises there, then.

Apologies to Tigger for borrowing her post from across the road
Missing Persons - On May 24th 2007, Paul Tuohy re-launched the charity, 'Missing People' (previously known as the National Missing Persons). The event is alleged to have been instigated at the behest of the European Commission, spearheaded by former EC Vice-President and self-appointed 'Guardian Angel of Children', Franco Frattini. The event was attended by John McCann. Paul Tuohy is an ex-colleague of Ester McVey. Tuohy says it is peculiarly ironic that they should launch at the time Madeleine McCann went missing. Patrons include Lorraine Kelly (ITV)
OK, we're talking three weeks after 3/5/07 and they're all there, McVey, Kely and a political drive to promote the charity. Former Vice president no less. I apologise for the 'Guardian Angel' .........unprintable..... Frattini. I'd like to know more about him, was he best mates with British charities?
I'm sorry I can't give a reference, it was sent to me by a member some time ago and I've been unable to find the source which I think was probably a blog which is no longer online. Added to Alan Pike's statement under oath at the Lisbon court, I feel that Missing People get more interesting by the day. Not your actual missing people of course, just the charity.

This Franco Frattini certainly seems a man of mysterious Italian ways sometimes, but I suspect that if you're looking for a conspiracy in the lucrative charity-business, if there's one there's more to find in Britain than in Brussels. Just my opinion.

Its things like this that really make you go "ooh". The names are all there right down to bubbly Lorraine " butter wouldn't melt in your giggly mouth" Kelly! Add on the far out theories about European big wigs ordering Madeleine for some pedophilic party and its easy to tear your hair out. More launacy eh!? Missing people.....iam sure were missing the point. Wayback looks less of a glitch by the week Imo.
