JM is to be commended for writing the only balanced piece about the Lisbon judgment. This is a brave piece of writing in the face of the closing of ranks and the press onslaught of the last few days. Some standout points:

The judge accepting the dog alerts as fact.
The many claims which were dismissed by the judge

Only on a 2nd reading did I really appreciate what a strong piece this is.

Have to say, something of a WOW moment for me.

Quoting myself, but this article by the Sun on first look does look bad, but re-read and it takes on a different meaning. It mentions the ex policeman not believing the McCanns and the fund etc. I thought it was PeterMac Smile

The Express piece by James Murray is also a good one. The Lazzeri piece is the only one that is a vile, nasty piece of writing.

Its a good article, but the word 'troll' now seems to apply to all McCann sceptics. Trolls it seems are forking out for Maddie cop - TROLLS, not decent people appalled at the injustice, but a group of trolls!

Last night a family spokesman declined to comment, is that because loads of people, genuine people are supporting a policeman who put everything into finding the truth about what happened to a nearly four year old child, whom he'd never met when her mother hindered the search by not answering 48 questions?

Agreed Markus 2, TM create diversions and false stories to create confusion.
I tell people who are unfamiliar with the facts the following 5 points to get their attention .

a)GM and KM never searched for their daughter.
b)KM refused to answer 48 questions from the police in Portugal.
c)UK police dogs only alerted to things McCann( apartment,car and clothes ).
d)Before raising alarm KM left twins alone despite knowing there was an"abductor" around.
e)The mother of GM tells the world that GM is "uplifted" now that the fund has been set up, barely two weeks after the girl went missing.

I know there are many other red flags but often you only have a limited time to get your point across.
