Tories at War!

Think this is so well done, although finally they have got their comeuppance,   I notice IDS said today that the tories target the poor because 'they don't vote for us'

You can see how the press blow everything out of proportion and fan the flames.

IDS is quite right IMO - it`s about time someone did some plain speaking about that load of Eton bully boys. Apparently IDS wanted the more well off pensioners to take some cuts rather than the disabled.

One lady that annoys me every time I hear her speak is Amber Rudd .... and she has been sticking the knife in IDS - cowbag.

While I actually believe IDS had a Damascene vision of the poor in the UK,the fact he has holed the Tory flagship just below the Captains quarters will come as little surprise to him. Et tu Ian?
The going is certainly going to be tough from here on in. Here's the reason people pay to attended Eton,we are going to see a battle royal in the next few weeks.....these boys don't play rugger for nothing!!

I totally believe in helping sick and disable people to live a life worth living. BUT There are some who don't deserve to have disability at all . Did need help for A TIME ,but got a lot better and still take the cash ,some have been caught out ,doing work for themselves and still claiming .I knew a chap that had been on all types benefits ,too ill to work > there he was on his driveway fixing cars on regular basis .I believe there is a clause ,that if you recover in health ,your supposed to tell and have it cut . I wonder how many will do that ,I know of some that have not .that makes less money for those that desperately need it . joyce1938

Yes, I agree Joyce. It`s people like that who have done the really disabled people a disservice. Surely this just calls for more inspectors going round doing spontaneous checks or even spying.

Much of it seems to go to their corporate friends through provision of  services previously performed by the public sector.

Not to mention the obscene amount put into the hands of buy to let landlords through Housing benefit.

Ha - yes, a great chunk of it being ploughed into covering up something that happened in PdL I reckon.

The Tories also want the charities to do the dirty work, much of it by volunteers, yet the CEOs etc. grab the bulk of money the government hands to them.

Laurie Taylor recounted a story last night about a charity that supposedly raised money for those with a physical disability........
