In last 5 days  I have heard of two police forces who yrs ago  'effectively' covered up sexual abuse when reported about 2 police personell

MWT..... Investigative Journalist, former Policeman and a complete clown when it comes to anything McCann related.

I didn't know that he set up a Child Protection Agency in 2005 though.

Anyway his stance on Madeleine is that she was abducted by an opportunistic predatory paedophile.

My stance is that he's a self-serving opportunist who couldn't wait to jump on the McBandwagon for his own interests. Like everyone else who backed the wrong horse initially but couldn't and wouldn't admit it.

So he pipes up from time to time and tries to reinforce the abduction bollox with his 'expertise guff'. Anything for a McFavour.

Imo etc..

Here is some original news reporting when Ben (then referred to as Benny) went missing. It was aired 5 days after his disappearance.

Sorry - don't mean to take this off topic. But was just looking into this MWT chap. On his wiki page thingy it says his company - WT associates, which is a child protection consultancy firm, was set up in 2005.

However him and his Mrs actually set this up in July 2007.

As I said before - all about jumping on the McBandwagon.

Yes, I got it wrong,  it's the 12th June.

So on his linkedin thingy he says he formed the company in 2005.

Scroll down a bit and he says he became a director in 2006.

But in reality the company was formed in June 2007.

What a clown.

It's possible that the company existed before 2007 - with him as the sole or joint trader - but that's when it was registered as a limited one.

Per LinkedIn he's now claiming to have been in the police force for only a year.

Everything before 2005 has been whooshed!

I read long ago, that whilst in the force, he was patrolling & picking chewing gum from the sidewalks ...

... I personally think he's just full of it and in cuckoo land.

From memory he claims to have left the police force in 2000 to study at Birmingham City University - a brave venture when he had a young family to support. 

Just found his opinion on the Oscar Pistorius case - - I don't think he has a lot of support there.

Here's former PC Plods 'expert' review and analysis on the Madeleine McCann case complete with personal recommendations.

This guy is truly amazing. He can't get a promotion in 11 years of being stuck at the bottom of the ladder in the Police. Decides he's had enough so picks up chewing gum off the streets for a year. Writes some stories in between then sets up a company in offering Child Protection Services that was formed just after Madeleine vanished which out of nowhere he's now an expert in. And also an expert in how high-profile Police Investigations should be carried out. Extraordinary stuff.

Anyway he does mention the dogs but quickly glosses over it then practically dismisses them.

(Incidentally I read somewhere earlier that his company was hired by the McCanns which he admitted at first but then refuted as it was a bit awkward. Can't remember where now though, but will look again later)
