The mystery of who killed Jill Dando

New to terrestrial TV (made in 2010 so probably on Sky before) programme about the Jill Dando murder.

I can only think this had to be someone who knew her very well - how could a random stalker or even a professional hit man have known where she was going to be at that particular time?

Watched a doc the other day about that. Probably the same one actually.

Professional hitman and sadly I don't think they will ever find out who.

That still leaves the question of who hired him and how he knew where to wait for her.

Well she was shot at her home so fairly easy to guess where to wait for her although by all accounts she didn't stay there all that often at that time.

Certainly a professional job anyway and no doubt her movements etc were heavily monitored in the days prior.

IMO.

She was about to spill the beans on the Establishment peado rings so it is said in conspiracy world.She had certainly already been told to bugger off by BBC top brass.And so it is alleged that the batchelor boy befriended her to find out what she had !
He was interviewed about it by the police apparently.

Why would a professional hit be ordered on Her ?

She knew something sinister.

I agree she obviously knew too much, although I was of the opinion she was a long term friend of Cliff Richard. I for some reason believe there is a connection with the Madeleine McCann case. Just my opinion hope I am wrong.

I'm doubtful about the claims that Jill knew about paedophiles at the BBC; others had their suspicions as we now know but they weren't killed by hit men.

If there's anyone who can face buying the paper, please tell us if there's anything believable in the article or if it's just another case of looking at every bizarre possibility rather than what is most likely.

I don't think that the threats received by other presenters are of any relevance - par for the course for anyone in the public eye.

It's possible I think that a crazed fan took revenge on hearing that she was about to get married.

Going off topic, did anyone see a programme years ago about a disturbed woman who was obsessed with - and thought she was married to - the DJ Mike Read. She was one scary lady.

It was Mr Big according to MWT.

It's been a sleepless few nights waiting for MWT to reveal the answer to this 16-year-old mystery.........

This was of course one of the original theories and to me one of the most unlikely.

I still think that, as with most crimes, there was a much more personal reason.

I hope that, as with the McCann case, the truth comes out in all our lifetimes.

I've managed to watch it, despite the problems I have with MWT's lack of credibility.

One or two things I didn't know, particularly where an undercover female officer befriended Barry George in the hope that he'd confess to the crime. He didn't.

I am personally still of the opinion that this nothing to do with Serbian warlords or a villain featured on Crimewatch but someone from her private life.
