New government in Portugal
A new left wing coalition govt is now in power in Portugal under Prime Minister Antonio Costa. This coalition includes the Greens, Communists and left wing parties.
My question is, what impact, if any, will this new government have on the legal system in Portugal?
The legal system in Portugal seems to move very slowly. How much longer will the judges take to rule on Sr Amaral's appeal.
Is the new govt good or bad for Sr Amaral? I have no idea.
Do we have members who are familiar with Portuguese politics and the Portuguese legal system who can offer an informed opinion?

It will be interesting to see if the new government brings about any changes to speed up the legal system. Am I right in saying that it was the previous one whose changes had quite the opposite effect?

Well that line up seems a bit worrying as far as moving the Country forward. So I would imagine more delay
