Re: Early Express articles
Just read the second posted article dated 5th May in the link, Bampots and wonder how the Praia Da Luz resident got the info about the door being ajar so early?
He also said this: “We are hoping that because the door was open, she just walked out.” "We"....Who is we?
Always good to go right back to the beginning to see just how much information that had seemingly been told to all and sundry. I can't think how this man could have come into contact with any of the group in anything more than passing at best!?

Re: Early Express articles
This has been a mainstay of abduction theory from day one TTWO although who provided this little bomblet....
Kate McCann, a GP, and her husband, Gerry, a heart specialist, had left the toddler – dressed only in white pyjamas – sleeping with her two-year-old twin brother and sister.
dressed only in white pyjamas...eh?? M and S sell them too?

Isn't that how DP described all three?

Re: Early Express articles
Cheers B, for linking this up. As you said, its interesting to see what was reported at the beginning. Had a glance after you posted it. About page 9 or 10, if i recall, it starts to turn.
I would like to know the exact articles that TM sued them for and what was reported that TM really did not like.

I think if they were sued then most would not be available and taken off line. If you have anything then perhaps just a link.Bampots wrote:I had a copy of that somewhere but wasn't sure if it was ok to post it...will try and find it again if it's ok with the mods!!

Re: Early Express articles
You`re right Bampots - it`s good to read those old articles.
It`s amazing just how early (on the Saturday) the MSM were reporting that Ma Healy was saying the Portuguese police weren`t doing enough. And on the Sunday they are reporting :-
"But despite the news of a prime suspect there was mounting criticism of the Portuguese police’s failure to respond quicker and more decisively when the youngster was first found to be missing at 10pm on Thursday.
Friends and relatives of the McCanns alleged yesterday that the search was only upgraded to a major investigation after the intervention of John Buck, Britain’s ambassador in Portugal."
So very early on there were plans to bad-mouth the Portuguese police it seems.
The reference to the `white` pyjamas is interesting conveniently tallying with DP`s statement `all dressed in white` - it`s almost as if this was pre-scripted. Also the reference to her being `in a lair` somewhere, a word that Dave Edgar later used. We`re told that CM wasn`t on the scene that early - but it really sounds as if it`s a script he has written.

Re: Early Express articles
Some of the articles concerned are in the link above. The Mccanns sued the Express over the coverage of lots of news items(as many as 100 I've read) I have a link for an article that the poster claims was deleted as soon as it was posted so to speak, other articles claimed swinging, sedating all the things people discuss on the net....
