Eamonn Holmes leaves Sky
Not sure if this warrants it's own thread but it's been announced today that Eamonn Holmes leaves Sky.

From what I remember he was never a big fan of the McCanns. And I'm pretty sure he had a fair idea of 'what happened and who was involved'.
Part quote from 2012:
Eamonn Holmes: But you see, part of me just doubts whether this is true or not, or is it about just keeping the awareness, keeping the profile, keeping us all thinking about it? The parents may be complicit in this, I don't know, and encouraging these stories and keeping them out just to keep people aware.

Re: Eamonn Holmes leaves Sky
This is a post I made on CMoMM in 2012 on the subject and I still think the same.
"I think that he means complicit only in arranging such stories (so that people don't forget Madeleine) rather than complicit in anything relating to her disappearance. Nevertheless it is an improvement on the sycophantic drivel that most TV presenters come out with".
He doesn't seem too sceptical of the McCanns in this clip at the time of Crimewatch in 2013.

Re: Eamonn Holmes leaves Sky
I reckon old Eamonn was on a bit of a 'tight leash' when it came to reporting anything McRelated whilst at Sky.
He's going to be producing and presenting his own documentaries from what I read. I can certainly think of one for him to get his teeth into. And without the leash round his neck he could do a good job.
