A look back at the Baby Peter case

For me, the only people to blame for this dreadful crime are Peter's so-called mother, her boyfriend and the latter's brother.

Not the over-worked child protection agencies and medical staff.

I dreamt about this all night after watching it. Poor little boy. obviously the lunatic mother and the rest were to blame but I dont agree that the rest werent culpable in some way. They were clearly a messed up family and someone should have stepped in. I dont agree with the witchhunt against the social workers though, they were one of many failures.
