I've cloned the website in its entirety, along with McCannPJFiles, down to my computer - just in case there is an outbreak of whoosh-clunking.

"I didn't have internet access for about a month and a number of issues (unrelated to the Maddie case) are currently consuming my time and energy. Plus, after 7 years of running the site I am completely washed out. I'll come to some decision about how, and when, I can update the site in due course, when the issues are resolved."

Anyone know what has happened to Nige.  The McCannfiles have not been updated since last August????

I have heard from a couple of sources that he's taking a break - personal issues I believe, nothing to do with the case itself.

Oh thanks, it has been a long while since last August.  I hope that he comes back soon, and that things are ok.

I've found it a useful reference over the years. Do you know if the lack of funds is the reason why Nigel has stopped updating it? If he gets the funds he needs, will he update it again? It's a shame it's been barely touched since the summer.

Popcorn, I know that Nigel has had a lot of personal problems - not McCann related - which have caused his absence from the site.

I'm very sorry to hear that, Freedom. I hope things are improving for him.

I can't help thinking that Nigel would reach his target much more quickly if he used the Go Fund Me website. There had been a number of attempts to fundraise for Goncalo Amaral before (with some success). But I think the combination of allowing donors to see the target getting closer and closer, along with giving them an opportunity to say why they're donating, makes a massive difference.

I don't think its just £100 he needs. That seems to be something to pay bills due at the end of the month relating to his site. he needs to have consistent income coming in thro the year to meet site costs.

we heard his I recall of being on going problem ,when I was on the mcf site ,Is Nigals site the same as MCF site ? A few of us got chopped off from there with no reason ,no being nasty and no way to find out why either. JUST TOLD iTS PERMENAN.T. there WAS AFEW FOLK ON THERE THAT COULD EXPLAIN A LOT BEING DISSCUSSED LIKE dna ETC . Go-fund-me allows people to get things off their chest.
Fifteen minutes of fame more likely.
But it's all about me, me and me again.

It's not about fame, you wont get awarded.

it's about keeping the archives they made.
Pamalam and Nigel, Amaral as well, didn't step into
the spotlight. They did & do it for all of us.
They preserved our history, thus enabling justice
to be done.
Let's just fund out of respect for our history, nowt else.

you in the books. Good on you, but, after Leanne left,
