I'm sure #IDS is convinced that people who die only prove he's right: These shirkers will do anything to avoid looking for work

Then of course we heard the news just a couple of weeks ago that MP's had awarded themselves a whopping 7,000 a year pay rise.

Now we here that many D Cameron cronies are being made peers!!

Who gave @David_Cameron the power to elevate politicians the electorate has consigned to the rubbish tip to the House of Lords?

So this forum has become party political now, has it? Few people on here believe the media reporting of MM, why believe biased nonsense like this?

Really, well as it happens I know of at least two people who have been hit hard by this new system.  Perhaps you are one of the lucky one's HK, hope you never get there!

So now we aren't allowed to talk and voice opinion about current news in the current news topic eh Harry........ Rolling Eyes

It's always horrible when people suffer, whatever the reason, but to blame one person in the manner of the illustration above is offensive
And some of the tweets below are absurdly misleading

This is a discussion forum, and this sub-forum is entitled "Current Topics In The News".  IDS is a Current Topic In The News.  So TBH I can't see the problem here.  Candyfloss is not demanding that everybody agree with her.  She has posted her feelings about the topic, you don't necessarily have to agree with them. That is why it is a discussion forum.

Why did IDS refuse to give out the figures, he initially denied everything.  The DWP has also admitted that examples in their booklet of people  being happy to be taken off benefit because it improved their life turned out to be lies and these people were made up.

Is it not true about the MP rise, or all the new peerages awarded then Harry?  I have a right to my opinions, and maybe one day when someone is badly affected in your family, you may feel the need to voice your opinion!

IDS is not solely responsible for government policy
IDS is not directly responsible for people dying
Deaths related to DSS issues also occurred under previous governments
MPs pay was recently increased, but expenses were simultaneously decreased
Cameron didn't start the game of appointing political allies to the House of Lords - Blair and Brown started the avalanche

His department is, and he is the head of it.
And although Cameron didn't start it, he has continued it.

He is responsible for his department and the boss, it is his head on the block when things go wrong

IDS is not directly responsible for people dying
If it were not for his rules people would still be here, so his department his responsibility.

Deaths related to DSS issues also occurred under previous governments
Yes, there will always be some deaths  but not as many
MPs pay was recently increased, but expenses were simultaneously decreased#

MP's are still claiming huge expenses, only a couple of weeks ago their were headlines about it
Cameron didn't start the game of appointing political allies to the House of Lords - Blair and Brown started the avalanche

Doesn't mean to say a responsible government has to follow suit does it, more cronies appointed this time than ever

I dont know if this concerns anyone on here.

For people on indefinate DLA  the assessments started early (july) they were meant to start in october but the DWP brought them forward, they did'nt inform claiments at the time. Also nobody will know when they get the claim form for PIP as it will be done randomly.

I thought i had 6 weeks to start panicking, well i'm panicking now since i found this out a couple of days ago i'm now dreading the postie everyday. What a bunch of twa*ts.
