I actually think he`ll make a good foreign secretary - he can go and slosh a few vodkas with Vladimir and promise to get NATO off his back. I don`t think Boris will be sucking up to the UAE either.

Michael Gove has been sacked from the cabinet.

He follows another political ally of David Cameron, former Chancellor George Osborne, out of the door.

Mrs May "is dismantling the old Cameron network", BBC assistant political editor Norman Smith says. "The Notting Hill set is being taken out."

Norman adds that, if the two former Leave campaign allies had stayed in the cabinet, "Michael Gove would almost have to pull the knife out of Boris Johnson's back which he plunged there a week ago".

It looks like Nicky Morgan has also lost her position as Education Secretary.
