Re: Madeleine McCann Books
so to summarise ...
there's a guy (who nobody has ever heard of but who coincidentally has the first name of one and the second name of another leading Dutch crime reporter) who is so interested in this case that he writes a book which reveals information in the files that nobody else on forums like this has spotted since the the files were released.
unfortunately he's so on top of the detail that he makes elementary mistakes that even a kid at school would have noticed.
however, good news ... he's prepared to correct every mistake that is pointed out to him.
this is possible because it isn't a book at all but a collection of pages on his computer that he re-prints every time someone orders a copy.
also because he seems to manage to have a conversation with everyone who orders one.
but it probably doesn't matter anyway because it appears that only one copy of the original was ever sold before it was temporarily withdrawn from the marketplace.
(strange that a reputable online bookstore should agree to put this in their shop window ... must find out more about them)
still at least we now know that there is a remarkable interest in Maddie in Holland, and whoever is behind this may now have the names addresses emails and telephone numbers of many people who don't believe the official story

Re: Madeleine McCann Books
Yep, good summary!
Peter Scharrenberg as well as the publishers have my full details.
Those were already in the public domain BTW, published in the comments on Pat Brown's blog,
along with the contact details of many others.
Pat wrote that blog as a reaction to the door stepping of Brenda Leyland IIRC.
On forums you'll find my site imakimou.com and @parapono together with my avatar.
No news there.

Thanks for posting.
If it suits the Mccann agenda then why is he pointing the finger at Gerry being the abductor.
Just a quick observation which (personally) don't understand...

Châtelaine wrote:Yes, he's written a couple of other books about crime, but they're in Dutch too ...
And again, during our extensive conversation he showed to be well-versed on the case.
As a matter of interest, what particular crime issues are the other books about? I haven't been able to find anything else that he's written.

Re: Madeleine McCann Books
I've got a Dutch friend who's interested in reading Mr Scharrenberg's other books, so looking forward to getting details thanks.

Re: Madeleine McCann Books
I have now been told by Chatelaine that the information she posted about Mr S writing other books was a case of mistaken identity.
He has not written anything else.

Re: Madeleine McCann Books
what a shame.
still, I've got some random thoughts about what happened to Maddie scrawled on the back of several thousand fag packets and can transfer them to my computer some time.
a bargain at 20 quid per hundred pages (please correct any errors as you think appropriate).
now, to find out who this Peter guy is and what he's up to ...

Have you read the book meanwhile, or just basing your thoughts on people, who did?

A bit difficult to answer that at the moment Andrew as it's only available in Dutch so we aren't going to have a wide range of opinions yet.

Have you read the Tapas 9 statements!? If they aren't double dutch I'm a Dutchman.
I think reading this in Dutch will be a piece of cake for PJ files veterans.

We Brits say something is double Dutch when it's hard to understand.
What do the Dutch say in a similar situation - presumably not double English!

Re: Madeleine McCann Books
There are - I'm not responsible, but many generations before yours and mine - a lot of English expressions have "Dutch" in it, as in "going Dutch", "Dutch courage" and "Dutchman" to name a few ...
I wouldn't worry too much about Dutch courage right now ;-)

Reading this I now wonder if I've offended our Dutch readers...
It wasn't my intention. It is my "attempt" to lighten the mood given today's and this weeks shenanigans. It is like a third party is trying get three groups (this forum, that forum and Social Media) of people to destroy each other.
Sad thing is I can see it working.......

No offense on your side TTWO, not at all IMO
There are IMO again other works in progress ...
Yes, I know I speak in riddles, but it's best not to mention or explain. Trust me [I'm not a doctor] ;-)

Other works? Another book perhaps? I just don't know what to think anymore. I mean could it be that this weeks tomfoolery is a hint that something big is about to happen?
Where's Andrew I need some very strong booze!

this thread confirms to me that this so-called "book" is nothing more than a distraction.
