Re: The Mystery of Corrie McKeague
Apologies for butting in here. I'm out and having a cheeky smoke at the mo and trying to catch up also..
I read a comment earlier today that there are only 2 places in BSE TC that evade cctv. Horseshoe and behind M and S. Both got a rep for 'meet up' points.
I found that interesting.
As you were anyway.

Admittedly the family haven't explained it very well at all but I have always understood the situation. Whether Corrie left on foot or by car it would have been caught on one of the ten nearest cameras. If he left in a car it would then be picked up on other cameras further out and possibly ANPR too. If somehow he beat the odds and avoided the cameras then why did no one see him? 34/36 others were caught on camera between something like 03:00-06:00 and some of these people saw each other which enabled the Police to find them.
The only logical way to my mind that Corrie could walk into that bin area and not be seen again is that he ended up in a general waste bin within minutes of going off camera whether by accident or foul play. This would then still require bin men and incinerator staff to miss him, though. It would be really tragic if it turns out this is what happened....
We need to know where the 3 other cars arrived and/or left from, the times and whether they moved around BSE before going to BM. The 55 minute window between Corrie going to the bins and his phone leaving the BSE mast (under the assumption of both remaining together) needs a lot more detail. I think the Police will rightly keep this info close to the chest.

TTWO - the whole car business from what I recall was very evasive. 4 was it 5 cars were seen etc... 1 was it 2 identified etc..
What's your thoughts on the bouncer/scrapped car chatter? Anything in it?

There is a lot of confusion but this is down to the Police not sharing info with the family IMO. I just can't believe the Police would give the family highly detailed info that they know they will share on Facebook?
We can only comment on what the family tells us.
The Bouncer is possibly interesting not least because I shared what I called a left field theory with a poster over at Websleuths via PM that I came up with a few weeks ago. Will have to await new developments to see if it has legs...

Thought I'd have a quick look on the latest from that Reddit place and all the comments seem to be from like 8 hours ago etc. Cant seem to see any recent ones.
Can someone who knows the place (costello?) point me in the right direction to see the latest stuff.... Cheers.

I think this is correct latest thread, Andrew: https://www.reddit.com/r/TrueCrimeDiscussion/comments/5oylx3/corrie_mckeague_discussion_thread_2/?sort=new
Just been wondering about the last message Corrie apparently sent. I'm sure it was said it was sent via Facebook (which would mean instant) so why the question now of whether it was sent hours earlier?

Cheers for that, TTWO.
Not sure about the phone timings. Need to get myself up to speed.
Interestingly when Nicola was speaking on the news last night (link no longer works for some reason), she said the Police are continuing going through his phone.... Now not sure if that was a slip of the tongue or she meant his social media stuff or what...

Who knows with this case....Maybe the betrayal was that the Police got the phone from the recycling place in the first week or so and lied to the family? Not sure if that is realistic but you never know!
Right now I'm not sure why the family are now raising doubts about when (or if) Corrie sent the message to April? Must be a reason for this....

As this link isn't working, does anyone have a link for this interview please? Not on the Corrie website or the facebook and I didn't catch it. Thanks.

@bluebell.
Try this:

Not got time to check but assume it's the same.

@ Andrew - Thanks for that, yes that one works. Not an interview as such just a few snatches of Nicola within their news report.
Great

Re: The Mystery of Corrie McKeague
So does anyone have any ideas about why the family are questioning when/if Corrie sent the last message to April? I don't have/use SM apps on my phone but from listening again to what Darroch said in the FB Live it was a three way exchange via SM (ie Facebook/WhatsApp). How they were questioning it was like it was a SMS text message, though..?
A SMS message can get delayed I think (especially having to be sent to the west coast of America where April was?) but via SM would be instant via the internet? Anyone sent SM messages abroad!?

Re: The Mystery of Corrie McKeague
I haven't seen the brothers Q&A yet. (has anyone got a link?).
SM message would be instant but all this faffing about with the details of this last text leads me to believe they are not being honest about it at all. Have the police actually come out and said anything in regards to last text? Can't remember off the top of my head.
They're probably deliberately causing some confusion about it so people talk about that and not Corries swinging stuff.

Agree Andrew, plus posts on all the main sites about the bike in the photo of Corrie being similar to the one one of the witness is on (i.e light coloured and two wheels!)

I watched that 'Brain Scratch Spotlight' video early this morning, it was very good in my opinion. No conclusive answers, but explained lots of things in general.

Right? So if they are saying the picture was forwarded by Corrie via FB then there are two options: Normal FB account and FB Messenger. I read on WS that Corrie and April weren't FB friends so if true then that means FB Messenger was used and would have been near instant. So why are they questioning when Corrie sent it?

Re: The Mystery of Corrie McKeague
Exactly. The only time I ever have a delay in messaging on FB or on Messenger might be at 00.01 on NYDay due to high traffic.TheTruthWillOut wrote:chirpyinsect wrote:Do you mean sent FB messages abroad?
