And he had no fewer than FOUR boltholes to choose from—behind Madeleine’s BEDROOM DOOR, inside her roomy WARDROBE, in her parents’ nearby BEDROOM or in the family BATHROOM.

Unless he was fumbling around the apartment in the dark he also needed to turn off the light.

Also they thought it might be smellyman so how come Gerry didn't smell him a mile away lol!

What an interesting find, I didn't see this before

The intruder was described as 'smelly and pot-bellied' and was wearing a distinctive burgundy top with a distinctive white circle on the back.

Just wondering how he managed to fit his pot belly behind the bedroom door? Question
