This is the best I could manage, is it ok or shall I remove it.

Oh thank you Kaya, that worked
Re: Say hello and introduce yourself here
I'm grateful to you, Admin and to you Kaya.
I prefer the round version, but can "live" with the square one ...
Life's too short to go into too much detail.
It's the discussion [and hopefully the solution] that counts :-)

Re: Say hello and introduce yourself here
I was going to ask: was the name conviction based on a deeply held view or a hoped for outcome to this case?

Re: Say hello and introduce yourself here
As I said: it was difficult to chose another name.
I'm convinced, Thomas
Hence "conviction".
I'm not talking about "karma", though I wouldn't rule that out, but I'm talking about justice - in the end. And the "end" is near ... IMO, of course ...

It's good to see your old name Chatelaine. I understand why people change their names but it's very confusing in a virtual world.

Re: Say hello and introduce yourself here
Morning all,
I'm Curioser from JH. Glad that I could finally fix the typo!
For what it's worth I believe it was an accident on the night of the 3rd that they covered up, possibly because they were worried about being charged with negligence. Mind you there is a very good argument for it happening on the night of the 1st because of Mrs Fenn and the patterns of activity on the 3rd being so different from the other days.
I don't believe that it was premeditated murder, or that they were swingers, or that there was a pedo ring operating with the Tapas 9's children or particularly that the Gasper statement means much. Mrs Gaspar was just one person who didn't like the tongue in cheek joke and who knows, maybe she's just a prude. Mr Gaspar doesn't agree and is not even sure they were talking about Madeleine.
I think the Smiths are a genuine sighting and totally understand why they wouldn't immediately rush to the police. As they've found out, it makes you a target. I think Tannerman was a figment of imagination.
So there you are. I'm willing to be proven wrong and interested in other theories, but I subscribe to Hanlon's razor i.e. never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
I'm glad to be here and hope we can discuss things reasonably :-)

Hi I have mainly been a reader on CMOMM for a while. Looking forward to joining discussions here as found it hard to do on that site. I felt that not many of the established posters were keen to interact with newbies there.

Re: Say hello and introduce yourself here
Yes, that was me Desk etc, but please, no need to call any other forum "darker".
We all share the same hopes of seeing those responsible brought to justice.
I've just realised that your user name means The Emperor's New Clothes. That is a very apt description of the situation in the McCann case.
Those who can see through all the nonsense just can't understand why so many others believe it!

Hello all,
I've been following this case on various fora since day 1.
Nice to see a lot of names here I recognise from other places.
Thanks to Candyfloss for setting it up.
Hope to have some interesting debates here.
