Were you in Praia da Luz while the McCann family and friends were holidaying in 2007.

Do you know what happened to Madeleine Beth McCann?

Very nice gesture leaving your well paid pensionable job to take on a position as spokesman for the McCanns but -

how did you know Madeleine wouldn't be found the very next day?

Did you think it was ethical to have your retainer of £ 28.000,- p.a. paid by the Madeleine Fund?

Moreover, as has been pointed out elsewhere, how ethical is it to encourage donations (James Whale show, 'just send money to Kate and Gerry, Rothley...it will get there' not litt. quote) to a Fund which pays your retainer?

I know it's not illegal, due to the Fund being a Ltd. Co. But it is at best misleading those who donate to help find a child.

I have many questions, but I doubt any of them would be "legal" ... :-(
