So called anti-terrorism legislation could be used to shut this site down
From http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/may/13/counter-terrorism-bill-extremism-disruption-orders-david-cameron
"The measures would give the police powers to apply to the high court for an order to limit the “harmful activities” of an extremist individual. The definition of harmful is to include a risk of public disorder, a risk of harassment, alarm or distress".
"Extremist individual" isn't defined but Cameron has already said that it includes those who question the official line on 911. Given that the McCanns have just won half a million pounds for being allegedly distressed by someone who didn't believe their abduction myth, I can see the more vocal of the sceptics being locked up and/or having all their posts censored by the police on the basis that they are causing distress.
The really disturbing part of the article is where Cameron gives the game away: "For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens: as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone". Clearly obeying the law isn't enough and Cameron believes that the state is entitled to modify peoples behaviour if the state is unhappy with it in any way. That's the end of opposition and the beginning of a tyrannical dictatorship. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a rerun of 1930s Germany.
