I don't understand the significance of the scene which happened quite often - where Paul's daughter as a child was counting aloud in her bedroom before Paul came back into the house.

I hope I'm not being too dim - I probably am! - but I can't fathom that out.

Sorry Andrew..Gamble to be fair presents himself as convincing to the casual viewer who drops in....he promoted the idea that the victims need inquirey and we have a duty to make sure they get one...more interesting is Gambles mate(i think they are!)Theresa May....she claimed to have heard rumours something was wrong ... this is what she said in the commons today.....so why didnt she push for more information?
