Oh not another, I hadn't even seen this news, he died aged 92 a couple of days ago.

He certainly played the part of the senior citizen well considering he was only in his 50's at the time I think.

Oops so he did. It came up on my facebook feed. Didn't realise he had already died.

This happens a lot on Facebook. An old notification comes up and people are rushing to offer their condolences, saying how they will miss so-and-so.

I comment to the effect that you hadn't even noticed for the last X number of years that he'd gone!

Gutted, great man, loved him.     Sadly it was 'closing time' for him.... RIP Leonard.  Your music will live forever.

Oh what a loss. Love his music and poetry, great man    

Farewell Leonard, we will miss you.   May your soul be at peace.

Must admit, I've not heard of him before

RIP and will enjoy getting to know some of his music.

Although I've heard the name, I wouldn't recognise any of his work.

I have to admit that, although I've heard of him, I couldn't name any of his recordings.

I could list them all Freedom, plus all the beautiful words.   This legend wished for women and dolphins to take over the world so it would be a more gentle place.        

For those of us who have been fans for so long, here is Leonard again - and this was no way to say goodbye but we all must eventually.

Bob Dylan got a Nobel prize. IMO Cohen could/should have had it too.
