Re: The wonderful world of Mark Williams-Thomas
Here's the second part of the programme.

I'm sure that this doesn't need 4 episodes - I'm tiring of the waffling and repetition.

Well I can say that he sat with police and asked the questions,to more than once ,it was in the filming .He may have been right through it ,and was just asking the others ,to appear on film ,its not clear whether, he did the work , but just put it toghether, mayve we expected more ,hard to say .joyce1938

Re: The wonderful world of Mark Williams-Thomas
I have not seen any of it so far, but quite intrigued by the case itself.
So could I skip the first 2 episodes and start watching from episode 3 next week or do you have to watch it from the beginning.....

Re: The wonderful world of Mark Williams-Thomas
I think that reading the accounts of the episodes here will be sufficient.

Re: The wonderful world of Mark Williams-Thomas
Thanks.
Saves me a bit of time then.
Here's a tweet from the man himself the other day:
Mark Williams-Thomas @mwilliamsthomas Jul 21
Episode 3 was finished yesterday & it is incredible . Better than this weeks. Ep 4 is not quite finished #LiveInvestigation #TheInvestigator

Re: The wonderful world of Mark Williams-Thomas
I might just read the accounts of the last two episodes rather than watching them.
I don't think it's just MWT that's putting me off (though it could be) - I'm finding the whole presentation very irritating.

Re: The wonderful world of Mark Williams-Thomas
Does anyone else think it odd that this short series is being broadcast while it is still being made? Surely before broadcasting the station involved would want to see it all, and have the security of knowing the programme is finished. Also in a programme like this, legal issues could arise and the station would surely want its lawyers viewing the whole series BEFORE broadcasting. Life can be strange. MWT or a close family member could be taken ill; there could be unforseen delays like getting hold of a key person to interview etc. Editing is a time consuming process. At the very least this way of broadcasting is 'living dangerously'.

Yes, I noticed that and wondered about it.
Other than current news programmes, most are completed weeks, if not months, before broadcast.

Re: The wonderful world of Mark Williams-Thomas
So, if as it seems, our intrepid hero MWT has wrapped up this case, what waffle will he fill next week's episode with?
Perhaps he will turn his attention to the McCann case again and unearth another letter from Raymond Hewlett in which he confesses that he did it?

Err... he's the 'investigator'. Of course he's correct.
Bloke found guilty of killing his wife and sent to prison.
MWT years later also says same man is guilty.
Now that's why he's called 'The Investigator'.
I reckon he goes out at night wearing a cape with a big 'I' printed on his front.
