2 people killed at Slough Station

This sounds horrendous - I can think of only "were they pushed" in response to the suspicious circumstances.

Sounds more like a suicide.  It happened to my cousin, a man threw himself in front of his train.  He never drove a train again.

I saw a decapitated body when I worked on the railway about 20 years ago, it's not something you ever forget.

I live near a railway station and this sadly is not an uncommon occurrence. Apparent suicides are classed as "no suspicious circumstances".

It's now known that the victims at Slough were a woman and child so most likely it's a murder / suicide. I wonder if the boy was disabled in some way and the mother was at the end of her tether. It's hard to imagine a healthy 10-year-old willingly jumping under a train.

My thoughts are with the people who witnessed this horror.
