So they have gone as far as they can go with this case. Obviously not like Grange then. Here are the figures from the article...

Re: The Mystery of Corrie McKeague
Martin McKeague really needs to count the months between his son's disappearance and the birth of April's baby - Corrie couldn't have known!
"Mr McKeague said Corrie had known his girlfriend was pregnant prior to going missing – and that he believed he may have killed himself.
Mr McKeague said knowledge of the pregnancy would have had a "profound effect" on his son.
He said: "I just can’t help thinking this would have weighed on him heavily and he may have actually chosen to get in that bin that night knowing what would happen.
“It’s as probable as anything else and it makes it no less heartbreaking.”

Re: The Mystery of Corrie McKeague
But the police have confirmed that April told Corrie about the baby. Which makes April and Nicola liars.
Det Supt Katie Elliott, who has led the investigation, said: "April had told Corrie that she thought she was expecting a baby.””
Gamechanger and backs up my awol theory. Depressed, sexually confused and a perhaps reluctant father. Tick, tick, tick.

Re: The Mystery of Corrie McKeague
The baby was born in June, nine months after Corrie disappeared.
How April could have told anyone, I don't know.

Well it seems like she could and she did. Martin said it all along and SP have confirmed that Corrie was told. Maybe the date of birth has been fudged.

It is strange isn't it but then everything about this case is - why such a sadly common event attracted so much attention.
If anyone is interested, there are loads of baby photos on April's Facebook page.

He said he had been presented with evidence that was "as thorough as it was compelling" and experts had "concluded beyond any doubt that Corrie had ended up in the Suffolk waste disposal system".

I wonder if his mother will accept it too.
I must admit that there would always be a doubt in my mind in a situation like this.
