Daily Star have the story today..........

'Did you kill her?' Maddy cops to question 11 witnesses
ELEVEN witnesses in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann will be asked by police: "Did you kill her?"
This snipped from it......
UK detectives, who have so far spent £8m of taxpayers’ cash probing the mystery, believe Madeleine was killed during a bungled break-in at the Ocean Club resort.
They want to trace a man seen by an Irish family carrying a girl matching the missing youngster’s description through Praia da Luz around the time she disappeared.
Despite worldwide TV appeals he has never been traced.
Police also hope to re-examine unidentified hairs recovered from the apartment in the hope advances in science in the past seven years could produce DNA matches.

Seeing as there were no signs of a break-in, it's going to be a bit tricky explaining that away when push comes to shove.

SY has questioned McDonald in his cell, something about his Aussie Diver boat? It's on the Mirror app if anyone can link.

Madeleine McCann Cops To Go Back To Portugal
15:09, UK,
Sunday 07 December 2014
Police are expected to spend three days questioning several people in connection with the three-year-old's disappearance in 2007.
British police are returning to Portugal to question several people in connection with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann this week.
The detectives, who will travel to the Algarve on Monday, are expected to spend three days working on the case.
It comes in the wake of the departure of the detective leading the hunt for Madeleine, who vanished from a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in May 2007 while her parents Gerry and Kate were dining with friends nearby.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Redwood, who has been the head of Operation Grange since it was set up in 2011, will step down before Christmas.
He will be replaced by Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall, who will officially take over the inquiry on 22 December.
British police and their Portuguese counterparts investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann seven years ago from Praia da Luz on the Algarve, in Portugal begin to search, with sniffer dogs, a patch of scrubland just outside of the small town

She will travel with the detectives going to Portugal and will meet with officials there.
Earlier this year, Scotland Yard detectives returned to Portugal to help interview several people over the case.
It followed on from searches of three areas of land near the Ocean Club, the hotel where the McCanns were staying.
Portuguese and British investigators excavated an area of scrubland to the west of the resort at the start of June but found no evidence related to the case.
Portuguese police closed their investigation in 2008, but the Met launched its own inquiry three years later.

Re: EXCLUSIVE: New quiz for Maddie witnesses
On the BBC Breakfast news just now, they said that some of the people to be questioned in Portugal came into the enquiry through mobile phone analysis. Phones that were used around the Ocean Club that night. One of those to be questioned is known to have a criminal past.
BBC Correspondent Christian Fraser said 'they would be looking for 'inconsistencies' with any answers that were given seven years ago'.
Some of the interviewees are former Ocean Club employees.
Police are looking for inconsistencies?.......I would have thought that the 'inconsistencies' from the holiday group itself is enough to be going on with, but there you are.
It looks to me like the burglar theory is now up and running.
Can someone please tell me that I am wrong as this is all too depressing!

Re: EXCLUSIVE: New quiz for Maddie witnesses
I think the key word that SY have let out is 'inconsistencies', and, of course, Robert Murat. How can they be thinking of burglaries if they are talking to Robert Murat. I dont think a whitewash scenario is realistic or plausible anymore - the world will not accept a whitewash.
