The uncle of missing teenager Becky Watts has spoken exclusively tonight to ITV News following the arrest of two people on suspicion of her alleged kidnap and murder.

Speaking on behalf of Becky's father Darren, to end speculation and rumour, Sam Galsworthy said no-one on his side of the family had any connection to her disappearance.

Reading a statement, sitting beside Becky's grandfather John and step-grandmother Denise, he said: "We want to make it absolutely clear that no member of Darren's side of the family are implicated in any way.

"Every family member who was part of our search for Rebecca still remains with us.

"We are aware that this is an ongoing investigation and cannot say anymore.

"We can't thank the public enough for their support. Please respect our privacy now as we process this information.

"Either way, we still want her home and we will continue our search for Rebecca."

So what does that leave ,still could be twists. Mothers stepchildren , Stepmothers children? cousins.

Step grandmother looks completely detached, as if she's listening to the weather report ... IMO, of course.

Sorry, but In my mind I can not rule out her papa.

I think that`s Darren Galsworthy`s Dad (Becky`s grand-dad) - and the woman is grand-dad`s wife/partner.

The man speaking must be his son and Darren`s brother. Someone correct me if I`m wrong.

This is a good question and something I've been thinking about.

We found out today that the arrest initially was for suspicion of kidnapping which to me implies the police had no evidence of murder. Either that has now changed or the suspects are refusing to cooperate and the ante has been upped? Not sure if the police would/could do the latter though.

Could be the dogs have alerted to cadaver in one of the houses or the Vauxhall.

I was thinking that Vauxhall looked quite posh - as if someone with a good income owned it.

Nearly ten years old so would hardly be a bank buster to own one.

Police have asked for information on this car but not revealed whether it belongs to either of the suspects in custody.

Likewise Poppy. I think there will be a few more twists to come. It's the suspected kidnapping I don't understand.

This car, why is it so hard to find out who owns it and who owned it before? They're also looking at cctv to see if they can find it travelling on any roads. Poor girl, I wonder why this happened? If it was an accident, there'd be no need for all this.

Oh ok It looked quite posh to me in the picture, but I`m pretty ignorant when it comes to makes of cars.

I thought you could trace all the previous owners of cars fairly easily through the tax system.

Yes this is what I was thinking .Last night there were some reports that said they had found her but Police denied it. Poor girl ,so sad.

I know the stepmother is ill but she did not come across well , wonder if the father knew and was in the house at the time .
