Never heard of this missing child case before...

Very bizarre indeed (and a few similarities)

The article is quite long, but an interesting read.

I was about to recommend the short version as a starter!

I don't think I've ever heard of this case before either.

Another interesting Australian story - involving 3 children - is this one.

Interesting that the mum was dead against age-progression photofits and refused to look at them! It was maybe too painful for the poor woman Crying or Very sad

I've just heard about this story though the baby has been missing for a month.

Very surprisingly, as there is no dispute that the parents are lying toerags, the OFM page has posted links to the case!

A dreadful case of neglect and murder from Australia.

The child services out there must have been trained by the lot who failed baby P.

A more recent report from the Daily Mail, mentioning you-know-who; perhaps interesting that two dodgy "abductions" should be linked together.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3049978/Almost-10-years-baby-Rahma-vanished-police-believe-close-finding-took-little-girl.html

What a difference though in the amount of publicity each case received.

Not heard of this either. Been reading a bit about it.

All very bizarre.

I doff my cap to you for finding it, Rosa.

I do now recall hearing of the case before but not until 2012 when the inquest report was published.

This jumped out at me from the article:

quote " He said there had been no phone traffic from the El Dennaoui home after about 7.30- at which time Rahma was almost certainly still alive- when "frantic" calls for relatives' help to cover up the death could be expected."

Just how many "frantic" calls did Mr & Mrs make after Madeleines disappearance?

The OFM Facebook page has removed the link to this case. Goodness knows why it was there in the first place.

There is now a "twibbon" campaign.

According to a source from the GNR, the discovery of a bag with a corpse by the GNR came after a group of youths who were playing football, giving the alert, for 17 hours.

The same source added Lusa that the GNR is investigating the case and still waiting for the autopsy results.

Despite initial information realizing that it would involve a child's corpse, the GNR told JN that the body is male, is in an advanced state of decomposition and is of indeterminate age.

According to someone on Facebook, the Daily Express is to run a story tomorrow along the lines that this story of a boy found after 13 years will give hope to the McCanns.

IT'S A PARENTAL ABDUCTION CASE!
