Kate McCann wrote:'We will never give up. You couldn't settle if you thought about giving up. I want an end, an answer. Whatever that it is.'

I'm getting the impression that you've been somewhere other than the gym.......
I dread to think how bad your comment was if you've been blocked. I presume you mean on the Daily Mail article.

“Hope” is the thing with feathers - (314)Related Poem Content Details
BY EMILY DICKINSON
“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -
And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -
And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -
I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me

Re: 9th anniversary - 03/05/16
Just an off the cuff thought that probably bears no relation as to why they picked Emily Dickinson.......but it struck a chord with me. It's from a very poignant Simon and Garfunkle track, which, incidentally is called the Dangling Conversation (now, does that not sum up the mystery of Madeleiene?)...........sleep tight wherever you are.....
I give you the whole...because it's genius......the bit which leapt out concerns Emily Dickinson of course!
It's a still life water color,
Of a now late afternoon,
As the sun shines through the curtained lace
And shadows wash the room.
And we sit and drink our coffee
Couched in our indifference,
Like shells upon the shore
You can hear the ocean roar
In The Dangling Conversation
And the superficial sighs,
The borders of our lives.
And you read your Emily Dickinson,
And I my Robert Frost,
And we note our place with bookmarkers
That measure what we've lost.
Like a poem poorly written
We are verses out of rhythm,
Couplets out of rhyme,
In syncopated time
And The Dangling Conversation
And the superficial sighs
Are the borders of our lives.
Yes we speak of things that matter,
With words that must be said,
"Can analysis be worthwhile?"
"Is the theater really dead?"
And how the room is softly faded
And I only kiss your shadow,
I cannot feel your hand,
You're a stranger now unto me
Lost in The Dangling Conversation
And the superficial sighs
In the borders of our lives.
Dangling Conversation......Paul Simon
After thought........is this them?????

Madeleine McCann's parents have led prayers at a vigil in their home town nine years to the day since she vanished during a family holiday in Portugal.
Kate and Gerry McCann also released a statement saying there is 'always hope' of finding their daughter who vanished nine years ago from their holiday apartment on the Algarve.
Madeleine was three years old when she went missing from the apartment at the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz on May 3 2007.

Mrs McCann said recently: 'Nine years. Time just goes too quickly. It's the quiet times that are tough. Times when you are thinking about her — or something related to her'
Those at the small gathering in Rothley, in Leicestershire, listened intently as Mrs McCann, 48, read a poem by Emily Dickinson: 'Hope is the thing with feathers, that perches on the soul, And sings the tune without the words, And never stops at all.'

Exactly. Nowhere to be seen which of course is very telling.
Now if all was well behind the scenes then the McCann / Healy clan along with all the tapas friends, would all unite and publicly show their support. Mitchell as well.
Imo.

Especially since Goncalo has won and republished his book, you'd have thought the family and friends would make it their mission to be there for them. IMO
