How utterly predictable. I heard there is supposed to be phone footage of this but not seen it yet.
They don't give a flying one how many lives this will affect. Just get Madeleine on the front pages any way you can.
Wait up. This child is supposed to have been snatched last August from this same hotel. She was missing for 40 minutes yet was found in the arms of her kidnapper near the hotel. Never heard this story before.

A dad told how his daughter was snatched on holiday and he feared she would vanish like Madeleine McCann.

Daniel Mann said Lillie, two, was taken from a Cyprus hotel at the centre of a recent child ­abduction bid but was found in her kidnapper’s arms.

He added: “It was awful. My daughter was about 10 yards from me at the pool and in the time it took me to turn around and say, ‘It is time to go I will go and get the bairn,’ she had gone.”

Daniel, 28, told how he and his partner Kay Baldasara launched a frantic search for the toddler after she vanished from the pool at the Thomas Cook Anastasia Beach Complex – where police are investigating claims paedophiles tried to snatch the children of holidaymakers last week.

It was then the couple feared their only child may have suffered the same fate asMadeleine, who vanished from an Algarve resort in 2007, aged three.

PE teacher Daniel added: “We were frantically searching for about 40 minutes. I could feel my stomach churning the longer it went on.

“There were people joining to help all the time. One or two mentioned Madeleine McCann, you can imagine how that made me feel.”

As the couple got more and more distraught, Kay, also 28, spotted a woman carrying Lillie under arms around 400 yards from the hotel.

Daniel, of Horden, Co Durham, said: “We found her in the arms of an Eastern European woman who was walking towards a car park.

"My partner saw her, she thought she was carrying a bag of potatoes, then she realised it was our child. She ran after her, screaming.”

Kay added: “Lillie was hysterical.”

The woman claimed she found the toddler alone and was taking her to the hotel.

But Kay said: “By the time I checked over Lillie, she had gone.”

The couple did not believe her and asked staff to call police. But Daniel said: “The manager said to us, ‘You’ve got her back, that’s it’.”

The pair reported the kidnap attempt to Durham Police when they returned home after the holiday last August.

The case was referred to Operation Grange, the unit leading the search for Madeleine. It was also shared with detectives in Cyprus. There have been no arrests.

Daniel told how the latest kidnap bids at the hotel brought their own horror flooding back.

My, my did this not happen last summer?? It looks like Gerry and Jim have been very busy while Kate has been doing her bike ride pull the other one you two I'm not buying it.

No his girl was not snatched,she is still with him what's the betting this tourist will be outed?? wonder how much he was paid from the fund?? or did he do it for free??

Could be a set up for revenge against Tsokkos. Could be the police and hotel are down playing it or it could be someone pressed the panic button without checking the facts.

This quote makes so angry.

Your two year old daughter is ten yards away at the pool and you turn your back on her. It would only take a split second for her to wander off on her own or slip and smack her head on the pool edge or fall into the pool.

Actually, I believe that the "kidnapper" did find Lillie alone and was taking her to the hotel.

How long is it going to be before a small child dies or is seriously injured because responsible adults start to think twice before helping in case they are accused of being kidnappers?

This was the main story on Good Morning Britain and they interviewed a guy called Kevin from Edinburgh! Not sure if his story was relating to what happened last year or the most recent one,he was quite a strange guy his eyes were darting all over the place.He said he decided to come home from the holiday and when the interviewer asked why he came home he suddenly could'nt hear.

Jim gamble was on also and one of the things he said was,if you want to keep your children safe "look after them your self" or words to that effect.

I saw that this morning.  Kevin wouldn't give his surname but was happy to on TV without any disguise.  Jim Gamble was classic.  If you get a chance to watch it, it really is worth it.  He contradicted everything he has ever said in relation to the McCanns.

So, after the hysteria of an alleged kidnap attempt, the place is on high alert and swarming with police with the kidnappers long gone, this is now the safest hotel in Cyprus and yet they decide to go home. Morons.

This hotel is going to be yet another McCann victim isn't it?

Don't look there, look over here. A classic McCann tactic that has been used on many an occasion. Jim Gamble has probably been crapping himself over the last couple of days. And now this has turned up out of the blue. What a surprise.

Anyone see Jenny Kleeman doing the paper reviews last night on Sky news?
She said it was ridiculous to put a pic of Madeleine on the front of the papers with this story, as no one knows what happened to Madeleine McCann.

I think everyone knows that Madeleine was not abducted though!!!
