I've always found the opprobrium towards Trump quite baffling.

I hasten to add that my son isn't one of those who doesn't think that Trump should be here.

Did he get any sense of exactly what it is that they find so offensive about Mr. Trump? None of the ones I've seen seem to be very coherent.

I don't necessarily believe anything that the papers print but I have heard enough actual speeches he has made to form the opinion that there is a complete narcissist in the White House. That is the politest thing I can say about him.

It's the PC Brigade who don't like him. He's looking after the people of America, that's why they voted for him. If only we had someone leading us with the same guile. Doesn't need to feather his own nest or appease people, already a self made man. Has traits that people disagree with, but haven't we all. Nice to see somebody steering a course and not just treading water. Would rather have him as a leader than the bottom feeding, brown nosing politicians we have.

Apart from keeping children in cages, of course. We will have to agree to disagree. I am far from being a member of the PC brigade. In fact I hate all that rubbish but you can be a strong leader without being a bigot and a misogynist and you can put your own country first by all means but you have to remember that you are only one player on a huge stage. The man has zero idea of his own failings and a lot of the Executive Powers he has signed have been simply to overturn decisions made by the Obama administration because his ego is so great.
As for his fortune...how many times was he bankrupt again? His wealth has been built on dirty deals and cheating the little guy. I won't even elaborate on his affairs, his attitude to women, his buffoonery or his lack of world knowledge. He thinks Ireland is part of the UK.
I actually worry for the world because of his lack of diplomacy and his rather naive belief in his own popularity.
