To his credit, he has never tried to claim that he could be Harry's father. He didn't meet Diana till around 1985.

Just look at the family resemblance with this photo of Harry and his cousin when they were children.

Usual tabloid "accuracy" - he has always denied that he is Harry's father, not just recently.

I hope that he pulls through.

How unfortunate. That story reads as if it was written by a child.

I think that goes for many tabloid stories and reflects the educational age of most of their readers!

I strongly suspect that the clip from the supposed recent interview is some years old and from elsewhere. It's from the now infamous Australian TV programme Sunday Night which is renowned for this sort of trickery.

It could have been taken from an American interview in 2011.

I believe the interviewer is that Rahni Sadler who did that trickery on Pat Brown and Goncalo. Nasty bit of work.

It's Melissa Doyle who only introduced the McCann programme.

I don't now think that the Australian and American interviews are one and the same. I can't find a clip of the latter but, going by the still shot from the Daily Mail, it's different.

It really is nonsense to suggest that the Australian interview is the first time that JH has addressed the rumours about Harry. To be fair to him, he has never encouraged them; I can recall him saying years ago that he didn't meet Diana until Harry was over a year old.

Oh dear, someone has posted this on Facebook and I think that he's being serious.

I don't think that Harry is even the real Harry now......read about a guy that looks just like him who wrote a book......saying he's the real Harry.. when he was around 7 yrs old. He shouted at Charles saying , you're not even my real dad..that night he was removed and taken to Ireland and grew up there.....they got another boy from a well to do elite family with red hair and groom him to be Williams brother.....
This chap was seen talking to Charles and Charles lost it and swore at him , calling him a bastard child...
The supposed real Harry has been found dead....21 shots to the body from 3 different pistols with silencers on....a real execution...police are baffled..

Do any of our Irish members recall this story in a more legitimate source? I don't know when it supposedly happened and the name of the hotel not being given suggests strongly to me that this is complete garbage.

I`m sure Diana would have noticed if her son had been swapped for someone different.

It really is absolute garbage.

I have found out when the supposed encounter with Prince Charles really happened.
