Reading those comments, if this is McSpin then it has backfired spectacularly.

The two doctors who gave their all, including details of their sex life (sorry if you're eating), for the sympathy of the Sun readership are believed less than one of the most notorious serial killers of recent times.

The murderer, who is already blind in one eye after a prison attack, was also told he could lose what remains of his sight within a year due to an eye condition. He had refused laser eye surgery as he fears it could cause him to lose his vision immediately.

They said this back in 2009 but cant find the link again, but this is from March 2015, so it was said from either March this year or he wrote the McCann story back around 2009

Just had a look. The sick troll epidemic is spreading. Even Sun readers are now infected.

I think the head line is great,even my OH(who takes no interest in this case) commented on it saying, Look even Sutcliffe thinks they did it.
This is bad for the mccanns in my eyes, to be there on the front page linked with the likes of the vile Sutcliffe.

Whichever way you take it it is not good, I would guess the McCanns are rather angry about it.

Oh dear! And notably in the Sun's facebook comments, people seem to be glossing over the fact that such a vile and dangerous person has made these comments and are instead focusing on the McCanns and their vile actions, with some even going as far as saying "well they won't be suing him" alluding to the fact that the Mc's never get negative press and those that speak against them are threatened with legal action!

Whilst a lot of people are singling out the neglect (and thus retaining the notion she was abducted) their sympathy has gone, but many people now going that bit further and questioning the entire story...This I gleaned from simply reading the top comment and the 148 or so replies..top comment being "Well he's not wrong is he" So if this was an attempt to align McCann doubters with serial killing nutters, then it has spectacularly backfired and if anything has opened up a public platform for people to say what they really think..with no chance of the Sun being sued.

So, I personally am feeling rather optimistic, albeit a bit dismayed that the likes of sutcliffe is given a voice, and that he has so many "female admirers" but it is a very interesting slant by the Sun, at a time when they have loads of other things to put on the front page, that they would go with this one, because it certainly hasn't done the McCanns any favours at all imo

Why just now and why link Sutcliffe to the McCanns? That's not the work of Clarence IMO, that's for sure.

If it is then it couldn't of gone any worse if they were intentionally trying to rally up some public sympathy on the back of a mass murderer.

I suppose it could be just a ploy to distract from other related McCann goings on. The Wayback stuff for example.... Lets stick something out there that will get everyone talking about 'something else'.... anything apart from the W/B.

Sutcliffe is up there as being one of the most hated persons ever. Judging by public perception these days, then the McCanns aren't that far behind....

And that will really worry Team McCann. Oh dear!!

If you wanted to use the words 'cast doubt' and 'something not quite right' about the McCanns on the front page of the most read newspaper without immediate lawsuits to follow then the Sun has done quite a job.

Even if the only way round at this moment was to link it to the vile Sutcliffe.

How unfair

The Leicestershire Police Chief has found nothing wrong with their story
The CEOP Chief has found nothing wrong with their story
The Operation Grange Chief has found nothing wrong with their story

And whats more, they never will.

The operation grange chief has not said anything, positive or negative about their story, neither did the Leicester police.  The former ceop chief had and still has his own agenda..whatever that may be!
