That was Live Pulse News, Mimi.
Live Pulse News was a Alan Taylor-Shearer, Sonia Poulton & Dave Eden (Lee Ryan too?) vehicle after The People's Voice collapse?
I doubt this Netflix/Pulse documentary is related but hopefully Sonia reads about this and clarifies. If it isn't her doc then I would get the vast amount of footage I'd gathered released ASAP because if this 8-part doc comes out then Sonia would have wasted her opportunity I fear....
Edit: Seems the website livepulsenews is now defunct so another venture ended.

Yes, and it's Pulse Films that have been commissioned to make the documentary. AIUI Sonia's documentary is already made but she can't find anyone to show it, presumably that includes Netflix. If this Netflix thing was going to be anything other than the retelling of the abduction myth why would they commission a new piece when Sonia's is already made?

We'll probably never now know what the real issue(s) with the doc where/are. Could be quality or too "alternative"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Sonia say that her doc is actually more/mostly about the the Government/Police cover up aspect rather than what happened to Madeleine directly? This for me makes it odd that every single production company would pass on it through fear of being sued by the M's?
Presumably Sonia has already offered her doc to Pulse via Emma Cooper?

Re: Netflix documentary: The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann
Oh dear..
Madeleine McCann's parents 'refuse to take part in Netflix documentary about her disappearance'
The eight part series will follow the investigation into Maddie’s disappearance in Portugal in 2007
Madeleine McCann parents have refused to take part in a new Netflix documentary about her sudden disappearance.
The as yet untitled true crime series will comprise of eight episodes featuring interviews with investigators and those involved in the investigation.
Madeleine disappeared from her hotel room where she was staying with her parents, Kate and Gerry and her twin siblings Sean and Amelie back in 2007.
Her mum and dad were eating in a restaurant nearby and had left her sleeping in the apartment. When they went to check on her, she had vanished.
According to the MailOnline Kate and Gerry McCann refused to take part because the Metropolitan Police investigation into Maddie vanishing, Operation Grange, is still continuing.
The investigation is still underway to find her and police recently asked the government to extend funding for Operation Grange.
The Home Office is considering the application. In March £85,000 was granted to police to cover operational costs between April and September this year.
The couple are also still waiting on a judgement from the European Court of Human Rights regarding the Portuguese ex-police chief who claimed Maddie is dead and they are responsible
Last year Netflix aired a one-part Amanda Knox documentary, which featured an interview with Knox herself.
She was jailed in Italy for the murder of British student Meredith Kercher, who she shared an apartment with, but was later acquitted.
The channel also saw huge success with Making a Murderer, based on Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey’s convictions for the murder of Teresa Halbach.
Since the series was shown there have been developments in the case, with Avery nearer to release and new theories on who may have killed Teresa from viewers turning detectives.

Their refusal means a missed opportunity to make a direct appeal to the abductor and Madeleine herself.
Almost as if they know there is no point.

The so-called Tapas Seven, friends of the McCanns who holidayed with them at Praia da Luz, Portugal, when Madeleine disappeared 10 years ago, have also snubbed the venture commissioned by Netflix and Paramount.
Despite the rejection of co-operation by parents Gerry and Kate McCann, Pulse Films has put together a team, including producers and researchers, to keep the project on track.
They are working on a “treatment” which will form the basis of the series, which could cost £20million.
Last week an executive working for the London-based firm visited Rothley, Leicestershire, where the McCanns live and spent hours interviewing journalists who have chronicled the story.
The assistant producer, who has expertise in undercover filming, later flew to Portugal where he has already established links with people closely involved with the story.
Another executive has also visited residents near the home.
It is thought producers want to involve former Portuguese police chief Goncalo Amaral, who has been involved in bitter legal action with the McCanns.
Dramatic reconstructions will be made of key events, including the night of May 3, 2007, when Madeleine, aged three, disappeared.
Clarence Mitchell, spokesman for the McCanns, has confirmed Pulse Films wrote to Kate and Gerry asking them to co-operate.
He said: “Gerry said they did not want to get involved and that is also the view of their friends.”
Netflix is hoping to screen the series next spring, but a spokesman for Pulse Films declined to comment
The company has more than 100 million subscribers with more than half of them living outside the United States.
Scotland Yard and Portuguese police continue to investigate the case but they have not made a breakthrough.
A television insider said: "This documentary series could provide the McCanns with an opportunity to appeal to a vast global audience of possibly 50 million for help, but they may see it as exploitative and too painful.”

So no cooperation with a reconstruction yet again!!
Great to see they may be speaking with Goncalo Amaral.
