Who killed Swedish prime minister Olaf Palme?

133 induvidials have confessed the murder of the Swedish PM Olof Palme.

Nobody has ever been convicted of his murder, have they?

It's certainly not an unusual event for people to confess to murders they didn't commit but 133 is a lot!

Nobody has ever been convicted.
There were several intelligence services including CIA who wanted to see him dead that could be the explanation why it's still unsolved.
Somebody knew in advance that he was without bodyguards that night.

Christer Pettersson lived in a Stockholm suburb and he was an drug addict and an alcoholic.
Palme's wife Lisbet was with him when he was shot but could not tell the investigation how he looked like but later, after Pettersson was arrested she pointed him out in an photo confrontation but the problem was, the detectives had told her what number Pettersson had before the confrontation.

87.000 induvidials are included in the investigation.
10.225 has been interviewed by the Police
4.296 vehicles have been investigated.
Cost for investigation up to 2016: ~£70m

33 years have past and still unsolved but the prosecutor is certain,
"The case will be solved".
I believe it when I see it.
