Re: Madeleine Police Probe More Break-Ins
If they'd found 100 more break ins, so be it, to this day, there has been no evidence found of a break in including on the 3rd of May, when that would've been as clear as day for evidence for the PJ to see and work from!

Re: Madeleine Police Probe More Break-Ins
Why and how did they know before the public ?
Mr Summers is quoted as saying: 'Our source told us that after stumbling across 18 burglaries last year, they have now discovered a total of 28 in the area of Praia da Luz in the years around 2007 when Madeleine disappeared.
'It gives them a much better chance of matching evidence against forensics from the McCann apartment.I was told there was great sensitivity around this forensic testing, nobody wants to discuss it, but they are making progress and believe the case is solvable.'

That's the nub of it,they don't know. For all intents and purposes the source may as well be me! It's certainly not SY,they told them where to go....and it's still all there.

Re: Madeleine Police Probe More Break-Ins
So if SY are looking for "burglars", why are they digging holes all over waste plots? Do they think that the "burglars" maybe buried their loot? Are they in fact pirates? Do they have a crinkly old map with a big X on it? In fact, the pirates thing makes perfect sense, seeing as Portugal "doesn't have a Navy".

Re: Madeleine Police Probe More Break-Ins
How do you "stumble across" a burglary committed in 2007, when you have been on the case for three years.
Do you in fact just look at the crime reports on the cumputer, entering the magic words
Burglary
and
2007
It is probably what I would have done. (On 4th May 2007, incidentally )
But then what would I know ?
I might also have refined the search to include "Burglary, 2007, child" but it is unlikely that would have turned up anything.
This is the most transparent Mitchell inspired nonsense we have seen for a very long time.

We also now have Jenny Murat s sighting, after all this time. Does not make sense , Perfect chance for Stephen Birch to buy up her house as she is selling and dig up the drive.

Madeleine McCann police discover more holiday apartment break-ins that could be linked to disappearance
19:07, 2 May 2015
By Karen Rockett
Police are probing 28 such burglaries and forensic evidence is being tested against findings from the apartment from where Madeleine vanished eight years ago in Portugal
Hmmm, are British police interested in these apartments, not because of burglaries per-se,but rather the apartments in themselves?

The comments seem to have been very 'lightly' moderated

It seems that burglaries in Portugal are important. I believe there are some reports of Lost Bicycles which also need to be looked into !

In how many of these "Burglaries" were young children stolen ? Ah, I thought so.

Re: Madeleine Police Probe More Break-Ins
The story is everywhere,British journalism seems to consist of choosing which stories to print that have been ready written and ready to go provided by whatever interest group they perceive to be on the same side,
Madeleine McCann: Police test forensic material found at 10 burglary spots in the Algarve
BRITISH police searching for Madeleine McCann are testing forensic material found at the scenes of 10 burglary spots in the Algarve in hope of a breakthrough.
Detectives were already probing 18 break-ins in Praia da Luz in an attempt to make a crucial link with DNA found in the McCanns’ holiday apartment.
It is understood that number has grown to 28.
It comes as Madeleine’s mother Kate said she was “more driven than ever” to continue the search for her daughter, ahead of the eighth anniversary of her disappearance.
Madeleine was only three when she went missing from her family’s apartment in Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007.
Her parents, Kate and Gerry, were at a nearby tapas restaurant with friends.
Kate said: “I’m more driven than ever to continue the search for Madeleine and to help other families who face the pain of a child being missing.”

What's happened to this story? It seems to run alongside the story about the spate of sex attacks against British girls on holiday in the Algarve? Is there any evidence for any of this? I know the 'bungling burglar' idea - totally implausible, imo - has been promoted but how does this tie in with the idea that Madeleine's disappearance is linked to a string of sex attacks on girls holidaying in the Algarve?

Not sure I ever saw this claim from Dr Amaral before. I've always been very suspicious about David Payne's alleged visit to the McCann apartment in the early evening of the night it is alleged she was abducted. There are different accounts of his visit but in one statement he uses extraordinarily embellished and flowery language to describe the three children. He 'over-eggs' the account to the extent of saying things like the children all looked so well-cared for. This is a very odd thing indeed to say. He also uses the language of death, imo, by saying the children were in white and looked like angels. I think this account places Payne as having knowledge about what happened in the late afternoon/early evening of the day Madeleine is alleged to have been abducted.
The bungling burglars/spate of sex attacks on children is a distraction to keep it all going around in circles, imo. But what a waste of public money and how dare the press play the public for fools?
All my own opinions as always.
