well it says Jossie has a couple of medical problems they have to be sensitive about.
She could be in the autistic spectrum which may make strangers approaching her very frightening? I don't know, just imo.

She's been found safe and well and reunited with her family, bluebell.
Some good news for a Monday morning.

This is from July 2014, but what an incredible story with a happy ending.

Re: Various missing children cases worldwide - plus the occasional adult
I have nothing but sympathy for parents who have momentarily lost track of a child and something like this happens.
I remember a day at Thorpe Park with my son when he was 4. We avoided going on a Bank Holiday, thinking that half the world would be there. We went the next day, thinking it would be less crowded but the other half of the world was there!
My son got lost in the crowd and I was tearing my hair out. I did find him without having to call for help but it was a scary time.

Oh what an amazing story that is, thanks for posting. What wonderful, intelligent, trustworthy, loyal animals dogs are.
So good both child and dog have been immortalised by a statue as well.

I presume this is the programme but I haven't seen it yet.
The presenter is the brother of Donal MacIntyre but I shall try to give him a fair hearing!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07mdkb3
P.S. I've now seen it. It only mentions missing teenagers and young adults in the U K. The only one I'd heard of is Andrew Gosden, see page 1 of this topic.

This was near me. I didn't know anything about it until someone mentioned it when I was in the shop yest. It was over before it started really but gladly with a happy ending.
Didn't think it would make the national papers though but just seen it now.

Re: Various missing children cases worldwide - plus the occasional adult
It sounds well within the boundaries of responsible parenting to me!
Another confession from me. My son was 8 or 9 when I told him that I was nipping out for a few minutes to the video shop. On my return, I found a note on the door to say that he was with the neighbours upstairs.
While I was away, there was some problem with the lights which had frightened him, he couldn't find me and so he went to the neighbours for help. Yes, I had told him where I was going but I hadn't waited for a grunt to acknowledge that he'd actually heard!
Thank goodness for the note on the door or I'd have been panicking too.

Re: Various missing children cases worldwide - plus the occasional adult
I wonder if there are ever any cases where babies have really been taken from cars.....
Having said that, there was this dreadful incident in China in 2013.

I'm sure we've discussed this one before but couldn't find it so started a new one.
