Sounds an intriguing one. I just sat down to watch that video but with all those stars moving about in the background it was literally giving me a headache so didn't bother.
Will see if there's another version or something.

Yes, that was a problem for me too! At least they weren't flashing or I couldn't have watched it at all.

So many missing people
I heard of this case today for the first time - maybe it will be known to our Irish members.
His mother just about carries on by believing that he will be found one day.

You probably heard about the missing young lad at the country estate with the barn fire that's been in the news of late.
Tragically they've just found his body:

I hadn't heard of that one.
What a dreadful story is this one too. Imagine the father finding his own teenagers and four others dead.

I read about that yesterday in the DM I think it was.
My first thoughts that it was a sort of tragic drug-taking experiment that went wrong.
Horrific stuff.

I don't think I've heard about this missing woman before:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4180102/Woman-disappeared-year-ago-police-NO-clues.html
Grandmother, 57, disappeared 12 months ago and police still have NO clues despite the force’s biggest ever search
Missing mother Lorraine Ridout, 57, disappeared on January 31, 2016 in Cardiff
Despite police search helped by friends and family no clues have been found
Almost 1,000 lines of inquiry have been pursued by South Wales Police officers
It is the most extensive urban search South Wales Police has ever undertaken

I'm sure Ben Savage was mentioned on here somewhere before (young lad missing after a night out), but anyway sadly he's just been found:

Re: Various missing children cases worldwide - plus the occasional adult
A bizarre and tragic one:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4196984/Police-crash-driver-s-body-site-three-weeks-later.html
Police searching for a driver who disappeared after his car crashed through a motorway barrier find his body next to the site - three WEEKS later
Zahida Mirza's car crashed on the M6 in the West Midlands on January 15
The car had crashed through a barrier and was found abandoned nearby
West Midlands Police launched a search operation to find the 40-year-old
He was discovered at the scene of the crash last night - three weeks later
Police they would now refer its handling of the investigation to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), as is usual in such circumstances

Never heard about this lad before going missing on Crete:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4234446/Remains-Greek-resort-man-vanished.html
Could a camera hold the key to what happened to a British tourist who disappeared on a Greek island 12 years ago? Workmen discover skeleton next to disposable device
Steven Cook vanished on a night out with friends in the resort of Malia in 2005
Workmen have now found a skeleton down a well which is being examined
A camera was discovered next to the remains and police are investigating
Islanders believe it may be Steven because there are very few unsolved missing persons in Crete

I don't know if this load of old baloney from 2 years ago has already been posted; the one good thing about it is that it doesn't mention the McCanns.

Wife 'disappears' on Mediterranean cruise
Has this been posted, strange one..
Husband to appear in court in Italy after his wife 'disappears' during a Mediterranean cruise with their two children
By Neil Michael For The Irish Daily Mail
Published: 13:59, 23 February 2017 | Updated: 11:57, 24 February 2017
An IT consultant is to appear in court in Italy in connection with his wife's suspected disappearance from a cruise ship.
Daniel Belling, who lives in Dublin, Ireland, was arrested after his wife was reported missing while the couple were on a luxury cruise.
The 46-year-old, who is originally from Germany, was about to board a Ryanair flight to Dublin, where he works, when he was arrested.
Police are reported to have become suspicious after ship crew reported that his wife was missing
He was with the couple's two children at the time and attempting to fly from Rome's Ciampino airport.
He was then taken to Regina Coeli Prison in Rome. He is due to appear in court in connection with the suspected disappearance of wife, Li Yinglei, also known as Angie.
Li Yinglei, Mr Belling and the couple's six-year-old son and four-year-old daughter – who have both reportedly been spoken to by police – had ten days before his arrest embarked from the north Rome port of Civitavecchia on an 11-day Mediterranean cruise.
After the MSC Magnifica anchored back in the port on Monday, the family – this time without Li Yinglei – disembarked
But cabin crew noticed a discrepancy between the number of passengers leaving compared to the number who boarded the ship at the start of the cruise on February 10.
Crew were able to ascertain that Mr Belling's wife had boarded the ship but was not on the list of those who left.
It is unclear at this stage what happened to her but Mr Belling's lawyer says his client is able to explain where his wife has gone.
Indeed, Luigi Conti says Mr Belling is looking forward to the opportunity to explain matters before a judge. He will get his chance today when he is expected to appear in court in connection with the suspected disappearance of his 36-year-old Chinese wife.
Mr Conti was quoted in yesterday's Daily Telegraph.
He said: 'I can't say anything about the circumstances of his wife's disappearance until he appears in front of the judges.
'He is keen to speak to the judges, to explain what happened.
'His behaviour after disembarking was not that of a person who was trying to flee.
'He simply headed to Ciampino airport with his children to catch the flight that he had booked when he first organised the cruise.'
According to La Stampa newspaper, one of the last times Mr Belling's wife was seen was when the ship stopped in Genoa.
That was on February 9 and the family were seen visiting a souvenir shop in the northern Italy port city.
The cruise ship records state that Mrs Belling did return onboard after the family visited to Genoa.

It does seem strange that he didn't report his wife missing.
People disappearing from ships isn't an unknown event.
