It doesn't seem to be 100% confirmed that it is him but in all probability it is.
Oh dear, that story about the dog - who knows what desperate measures anyone of us would take to survive.

Gaia Pope: 49-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder '110 per cent innocent', say family
16 November 2017 • 6:37pm
A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Gaia Pope, Dorset Police have said.
The arrest was announced hours after police found "items of women's clothing" in a field.
Dorset Police said the suspect, who is believed to know Miss Pope, was arrested on Thursday afternoon. The suspect was named by his own family as Paul Elsey, 49, who is the uncle of Nathan Elsey, a 19-year-old actor and friend of Miss Pope.
Greg Elsey, the suspect's father, said his son was '110 per cent innocent'. Mr Elsey said he had travelled from his home in Romsey in Hampshire to Poole in Dorset to pick up his son and take him to a law firm. He was then arrested.
Mr Elsey said: "It's disgusting how the police have performed. I wanted to make sure Paul had got legal representation before he was taken away. I asked Paul before he was arrested if he was all right. He said 'yes, I'm fine'.
"He's protested his innocence 110 per cent and I have 110 per cent belief that he will be released when they find out he has done nothing."
A major inquiry is under way to find Gaia, 19, who vanished from the Swanage area of Dorset on the afternoon of November 7.
Detective Superintendent Paul Kessell, of Dorset police, said: "We have arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of murder. He is believed to be known to Gaia and from the Swanage area.
"Also today a member of the public identified clothing south of Priestly Road in Swanage similar to that worn by Gaia."
Police said the clothing was found at 10.28am on Thursday by a member of the public in an area of open land north of the coastal path near Swanage.
The owner of the clothes has not yet been identified, but detectives have informed Miss Pope's family of the find.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Devoto, who is leading the investigation, said: "Following the discovery of these items of clothing, a full and thorough search will now take place in the field and surrounding area.
"We have seized the clothing and investigations will now be carried out to identify who they belong to.
"We have updated Gaia's family who continue to be supported by specially-trained officers. Our thoughts remain with them at this very difficult time."
Mr Devoto added: "We are doing everything possible to try and locate Gaia.
"I would like to renew my appeal to anyone who has information about where Gaia is or what has happened to her to please contact Dorset Police.
"I am also urging anyone who has seen any suspicious activity in the area of Morrison Road and Priests Way since November 7 to please contact us."
Cockerell/PA
Earlier, Miss Pope's father, Richard Sutherland, made an emotional appeal to find his daughter and said he just wanted a "big hug" from her.
"I can tell you this that the family is united together in this and we are united with the police and united with the public," Mr Sutherland told ITV News.
"I can't tell you how grateful we are to everybody out there, it's unbelievable."
Mr Sutherland added: "Gaia, you know we love you, you know that. I just want that big hug please, I just want a big hug. We'll get you back and we'll have that big hug."
On Wednesday, the teenager's mother, Natasha Pope, urged people to look in vans, garages and houses in case she was being kept against her will.
Dorset Police has launched a major investigation to find Gaia and has been carrying out forensic examinations of two properties in the Swanage area, as well as searches of land around the town.
The force released two CCTV images of the teenager taken inside St Michael's Garage in Swanage when she bought an ice cream.
Gaia was being driven between Langton Matravers and Swanage by a family member when they stopped off for fuel at around 2.55pm.
The last confirmed sighting of Gaia was at an address in Manor Gardens on Morrison Road in Swanage at about 4pm.
The black jacket Gaia was wearing in the CCTV images was recovered from an address in Manor Gardens.
Forensic investigations are continuing at two properties in Manor Gardens, which are believed to be the homes of a 71-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man. Three vehicles have been seized.
They were released under investigation on Tuesday after being arrested on suspicion of murder by police the previous day.
The search to find the teenager has continued with search teams focusing all their efforts inland in Swanage and the surrounding area, supported by Dorset search and rescue and specialist units from neighbouring police forces.

No others involved in Gaia's death
'No others involved' in Gaia Pope's death

There were no injuries to suggest "any other person was involved" in the death of missing teenager Gaia Pope, police have said.
The 19-year-old's body was found on Saturday in a field near Swanage, 11 days after she was last seen.
Dorset Police is treating her death as "unexplained" pending toxicology results.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of murder as part of the investigation and released under investigation.
Det Supt Paul Kessell said: "The post-mortem examination has not identified any injuries to suggest any other person was involved in her death.
"The cause of death is undetermined, pending toxicology. The coroner is involved in the oversight of these examinations but at this time this remains an investigation into an unexplained death."
Miss Pope, who had severe epilepsy, had not been seen since 7 November.
Her disappearance prompted a massive campaign from family and friends who spent days scouring the town.
Items of her clothing were found on Thursday, close to where her remains were found near a coastal path.
Police thanked volunteers for their help in searching for the teenager, but have asked people to stay away from the site due to safety concerns.
Det Supt Kessell added: "I reiterate this area is steep and slippery in an exposed area close to sea cliffs. The area is covered in dense undergrowth and gorse and can present a hazard.
"The area where the body was located is likely to remain cordoned off for some time while forensic examinations and searches are concluded."

I did wonder if this could be natural causes due to her epilepsy or suicide due to the distressed state she was in.

Multiple murder arrests seem a little OTT under the circumstances, but at the same time I thought the family dynamic was a bit odd.

This certainly highlights the dangers of naming people who are questioned in possible criminal cases but never charged.

When Dorset Police announced the three people arrested in connection with their investigation would face no further action, detective superintendent Paul Kessell said the force had been expected to "fully investigate the sudden disappearance of a teenage girl".
"I appreciate our inquiries would have caused these individuals stress and anxiety, however we have an obligation in any missing person investigation to explore every possible line of enquiry," he said.

Hmm parents giving conflicting times. FBI involved now.
Now the biological father speaks out and is not convinced things happened the way stated.
Father of missing 3-year-old girl speaks out
JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County - The father of the missing 3-year-old girl from Onslow County spoke with NewsChannel 12 reporters this morning.
Alex Woods is the biological father of Mariah Woods and her two brothers. He said that he found out his little girl was missing when the Amber Alert went out yesterday.
Woods has not seen his daughter since last year. He and his partner, Heather, said they had custody of the kids for about a month after an incident involving Child Protective Services.
According to authorities, Mariah's mother reported her daughter missing yesterday morning around 6:00 a.m. and she believes her child was abducted.
Woods, however, told NewsChannel 12 reporters that he is not convinced that is how things played out.
"Someone just walked right up in there, grabbed the 3-year-old out of the bed and she didn't cry, she didn't scream?" Woods said. "Nobody heard anything? Four people in the house, two adults and two kids someone just comes up and snatches the baby and walks out?"
Both Woods and his partner said they are hoping for the best, but right now they said something just doesn't feel right.

Re: Various missing children cases worldwide - plus the occasional adult
It isn't the longest outstanding missing person case in the U K where there are still people alive anxious to find out what happened.
We've mentioned this one from 1957 before.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-39063616
As for Mary who went missing in 1959 / 1960, that's an odd one, now that I've read the story properly. Where had she been going in the fortnight before her disappearance when she claimed to be at work but wasn't and why did her employers not try to find out where she was?
She had been engaged to a young man whom her father knew yet, when he suddenly stopped showing up to help look for her, the family couldn't recall his surname and didn't know where he lived!

Mother who claimed her daughter went missing when she had buried her in a forest has sentence quadrupled
Mother who buried daughter has sentence extended to 20 years
Cecile Bourgeon, 30, drew sympathy across France for "lost" daughter Fiona, before admitting she had buried her in a forest.

A mother who sparked a nationwide appeal to find her lost daughter before admitting she'd buried her in a forest has had her sentence extended.
Cecile Bourgeon claimed her five-year-old daughter Fiona had gone missing in a park in Clermont-Ferrand, France, in 2013, while she was playing with her two-year-old sister.
But four months later, after desperate searches for the little girl, she and her then-partner Berkane Marklouf admitted they had buried her in a forest following an "accident at home".

Bourgeon, 30, had been acquitted of murder in 2016 and sentenced to five years for lying about her daughter's fate.
Following a two-week appeal in central France, a jury of nine women overturned her sentence and handed her a 20-year penalty, quadrupling her jail time.
Makhlouf had been given 20 years when they were sentenced in 2016.
Bourgeon, a drug addict, said Fiona was "accidentally punched" and claimed Makhlouf had beaten her in a drunken fury.
Image: People take part in a march for Fiona in 2014 after her mother went in for questioning
Makhlouf accused her of kicking the little girl in the stomach and head.
Both said she had died because of a "domestic accident", not the violence, claiming they had panicked when they found her body the next morning.
Her body was never found.
At the latest hearing, Prosecutor Raphael Gentile de Sanesi described the pair as "torturers" who collaborated in "ongoing violence" against her daughter in the days leading up to her death.
There was no new evidence about how Fiona died or how much responsibility each adult bore in her death but the court recognised she was the victim of "mistreatment".

Bourgeon was not given the full 30-year term available to jurors, but they did choose to withdraw her parental authority from her other two children.
Fiona's father Nicolas Chafoulais said: "She got the sentence she deserves. It is a relief for me and justice for Fiona.
