Definitely a case for forced sterilisation - not a popular view maybe!

I've heard of a few cases like that before.

There's an update to say that the parents have been found.

Two people have been arrested for this!

I read in another article on that case that she plans to appeal her 6 month sentence.

No mention in the article about the father(s) of her three children. Probably all her social welfare going on her drink problem. No money for babysitters. Yet the McCanns who had the option of the free evening creche, or to pay a nanny from the day time creche, chose to leave their three children all under four (the eldest child in the Irish case was seven) alone in an unlocked ground floor apartment while they were out drinking as the Irish mother was. The Irish mother deserves what she got but if only the Portuguese police could have charged the McCanns with neglect......
