Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
Thanks for the videos Andrew.
I have just started watching the first one and just over 10 minutes in, maybe 10min and 5 to 12 secs I can clearly her Patsy say "what did you do". I can't make out the rest of it though. This is when she thought she had hung up the phone. But the "what did you do" is clear to me.
Back I go to watch the rest

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
It doesn't make sense though to say that when she was on the phone to the police.
She had obviously found out what had happened some time earlier; it would have taken some considerable time to write the ransom note. She didn't dash if off while waiting for the police to turn up.

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
Perhaps she was asking her husband what he had done in terms of moving JonBenet's body and muddling the crime scene?

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
Not a whole pile of it makes sense though. Maybe they had heard Burke hit her, came downstairs and went nuts, sent him straight to his room while they sorted the crime scene and wrote the letter, which took at least 20 minutes. My guess would be an hour or so at least. Then maybe when the son heard her on the phone he came back downstairs, and after she thought she had hung up the phone and thought everything was sorted, she asked him what he did.
Or what Canada12 said is possible too.
I think, where the father lay the body on the floor after taking her up from the cellar, might be where she died and he deliberately lay her there in case forensics was found in that spot. I can't understand why he didn't lay her on the couch.
I'm off now to watch the second video.

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
Very good point about where John put her body. I couldn't make out what Patsy was saying. What was the inflection in her voice? Was it said in an angry way or more gently to find out what John had done with the body?
I can't see her only asking Burke all that time later somehow. It would be the first thing most people would try to ascertain. That and why.

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
In my opinion it wasn't said in an angry way, more like a tone of what have you done type of thing. When they inhance the sound I can hear a male saying I'm not talking to you, or we are not talking to you, then I can hear a younger child but can't make out if he is saying "what did you find" or not.
I could hear her say "what did you do" before I listened to the part where they enhance the recording by slowing it down and blocking background noise. After listening to that part it doesn't sound as clear to me. It was only the male voice that sounded clearer to me.
It's possible she was saying it for the sake of saying it because she was agitated and nervous. its possible they weren't even in bed when all this happened. Maybe just in the next room. So they might have known what happened and the what did you do is her reaction. I don't know. It's all a bit odd.
Unbelievable how similar it is to the McCanns case. I wonder did they study this case and all they did to get away with it, it's almost like a carbon copy of events after the alarm was raised.

TELEVISION viewers following the recent twists and turns in the chilling JonBenet Ramsey murder case may have seen the speculation that Burke Ramsey killed his sister.
But another powerful TV special that airs next week in the run-up to the 20th anniversary of the child beauty queen’s death has put forward new theories.
Who Killed JonBenet Ramsey? unearths some bizarre evidence that suggests housekeeper Linda Hoffman Pugh and “Santa Claus suspect” Bill McReynolds should have been further investigated.
The two-part special on CNN offshoot channel HLN looks more deeply into alternative theories than this week’s explosive The Case Of JonBenet Ramsey.

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
I haven't read this in detail yet but my first impression is, as with the McCanns, the elephant in the room is being ignored while local weirdos are put under the spotlight.
The bit about the handwriting on the note being so different to Patsy's is nonsense. It's the similarities which make her the obvious suspect.

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
I've not heard of the 'Santa Claus' theory myself....
Also lots of speculation in the news about the Ramsey lawyers threatening to sue. So will be interesting to see what comes of that.
Will try and watch those you tube vids later this eve.

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
Just as a matter of interest, who remembers when they first heard about this case? It certainly wasn't a worldwide splash as with the McCanns.
For me I was in a dentist's waiting room in September 1999 (goodness knows how I remember the date) reading the usual selection of old magazines and in one of them was an article about the case - so nearly three years later.
Then I saw a programme on TV - not sure when but before 2006 as Patsy was still alive. This definitely conveyed the impression that the parents were blameless and wonderful.
Since then I have looked out for updates on the case.

Snipped:
“You betcha I’m going to sue CBS. I’m going to take that company down as hard as I can because let me tell you the entire documentary is a fraud. CBS perpetrated a fraud on the viewers. There was no new investigation, their quote- un quote- experts were really just actors,” Wood told LawNewz.com.
Wood has represented the Ramsey family since 1999. The family has sued more than a half a dozen publications over the years that have run with stories suggesting that the Ramsey family could be behind the beauty beauty winner’s murder. The case is approaching it’s 20th year and still remains unsolved. Before she died,Wood promised JonBenet’s mother, Patsy Ramsy, that he would always defend the family name

Was back in 1999 for me as well when I lived in America for a couple of years at the time. Although I can't remember my thoughts about it all back then. Very much went off the radar until it was being discussed on here. Like the Needham case as well.

Poll - did Burke kill JonBenet Ramsey
Thought I'd include a poll on this (if it works). Still not watched the CBS vids I posted as yet.
So what do we think.....
(and don't worry, it's not a Bennett poll where he finds out who disagrees with him, then bans them)

It works now. But inadvertently voted yes to test it. But saying that I am almost over the fence in that he was responsible.

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
At the moment the "not sures" definitely have it.
I think that if the questions included "was a family member(s) already in the house involved" there would be a resounding yes vote.
