Did Burke kill JonBenet
Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
I wonder if Burke Ramsey will wait until after his father's death to own up; were he to do so now, the latter would face multiple charges.

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
You mean, it was the father?
Likely so...
IMO, of course

No, I definitely think that the son was responsible but the father could be charged with perverting the course of justice by covering up for him.

Interesting.
I'm in limbo.
ETA I first thought it was the father, then the son, then the father, etc. ...
Whatever: it was an inside job ...

That's interesting because I am sure there are reports where evidence of sexual abuse is mentioned?
For instance this one:
The most troubling, and perhaps unexpected finding, were physical signs that JonBenét may have been sexually abused by an unknown person. These findings suggested that at the time of her death, she had been sexually assaulted but that she may have experienced sexual trauma prior to the day she died as well.

Yes I think that story abounded for a while including that she suffered from UG infections. But they had an experienced pathologist on that programme who said the vaginal tract was clear and untouched. I think he gleaned this from the autopsy report. Also the DNA on the panties was of no concern because they proved that anyone`s DNA could easily transfer there. (Mind you I did query this myself because the panties they tested were brand new out of the packet yet JB`s panties might not have been new and gone through the wash at home).
You should watch the films - they`re good. I can`t remember which one had the bit about the autopsy.

I've now watched both parts, albeit in the wrong order.

Interesting observation here that Burke was into computers as long ago as 1996.
Burke was quiet, reserved and very into computer technology. I had seen him have emotional outbursts.”

If I could change my earlier vote from "not sure" to "yes" I would!
I assume that the CBS programme is the same one that was shown last week on More 4.
What a surprise (not) that Burke is suing CBS.

....and in the case of Ben Needham, I think that the adults could also be covering up for a boy who wasn't much older than Burke Ramsey.

EXCLUSIVE: JonBenet Ramsey’s brother storms back to court after crime expert who accused him of murdering the pageant princess defends his claim as ‘free speech’
In October, Burke Ramsey filed a $150 million defamation lawsuit against forensic pathologist Dr Werner Spitz
Spitz had said during an interview with CBS Detroit that he thought Burke killed his six-year-old sister, JonBenet Ramsey, in 1996
On Tuesday, Burke defended his lawsuit in court, saying that Spitz is 'seeking to avoid responsibility for his false accusations'
Burke's reputation was also rocked by a CBS special that hypothesized he hit his sister over the head with a flashlight and killed her
Despite the high-profile nature of JonBenet's 20-year-old murder case, and the many theories about her death, no killer has ever been identified

http://radaronline.com/videos/jonbenet-ramsey-private-investigator-ollie-gray-dead/
Ollie Gray, the private investigator hired by the Ramsey family to solve the murder of JonBenet Ramsey, has died, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
“I just learned of the passing of Ollie Gray, a Colorado Springs based private investigator and a good friend,” friend Bruce Plasket wrote on Facebook. “We spent many hours together in recent years and I was honored to have dinner with him on his last birthday. He was the best investigator I ever met.”
Plasket believes the 1996 murder of the beauty queen will continue to go unsolved amid news of the death.
“With his passing, the slim chances of the JonBenet Ramsey murder ever being solved have essentially evaporated. Very sad,” he wrote. “Rest In Peace, my friend.”
Gray worked with co-investigator John San Agustin to find that 6-year-old’s killer.
Gray, who suffered from Parkinson’s disease, said on the TODAY show in May 2016 that he continued to work on the investigation without pay.
“You have to look for something in order to find something, and unfortunately for this particular case, you had a totally inexperienced police agency,” he said. “There are probably three or four people that should have been investigated earlier and still need to be investigated.”
Gray believed Michael Helgoth was involved in the brutal killing.
“I don’t think Mike did all this by himself,” he said of Helgoth, who committed suicide months after JonBenet’s death. “I think there was more than one or two people involved.”
JonBenet was found dead in the basement of her parents’ John and Patsy’s Boulder, Colorado home on Christmas Day in 1996.

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
Just been reading similar on daily mail link below, and just for a quick glance here is the timeline of the case from there.....
December 26, 1996: JonBenet Ramsey, 6, is found dead in the basement of the family's Boulder home, several hours after her mother called 911 to say the girl was missing and that she had found a ransom note. She was killed after she was strangled and suffered a fractured skull
January 1, 1997: Patsy and John Ramsey appear in first TV interview to protest their innocence
April 30, 1997: They undergo formal interviews at the Boulder County Justice Center
May 20, 1997: Mrs Ramsey, who authorities believe could have written the ransom note, gives them a fifth handwriting sample
Summer 1997: The Ramseys move from Colorado to Atlanta
March 12, 1998: Boulder police ask the DA to take the case to a grand jury
June, 1998: Boulder police present the results of their investigation to Hunter's prosecutorial team and outside advisers; the Ramseys are interviewed separately over three days by investigators
August 12, 1998: Authorities say the Ramsey case will go to a grand jury and the following month, it begins
October 13, 1999: The grand jury disbands and the DA announces there is not enough evidence to file charges against the couple
March 29, 2001: The Ramseys file an $80 million libel and defamation lawsuit against officers at the Boulder Police Department who agree to an undisclosed settlement in the case
March 31, 2003: Federal judge says evidence is 'more consistent with a theory that an intruder murdered JonBenet than it was with a theory that Mrs. Ramsey did'
December 2003: New DA confirms that DNA from a spot of blood from JonBenet's underwear has been entered into the FBI's national database - but that it's not from her family
June 24, 2006: Patsy Ramsey dies in Roswell, Georgia, at age 49, from ovarian cancer
August. 16, 2006: John Mark Karr, a 41-year-old American school teacher who confessed to the crime, is arrested in Bangkok, Thailand - but his DNA does not match that found on the body
July 9, 2008: DA makes public a letter she has written to John Ramsey explaining that new DNA tests have convinced her that no member of the Ramsey family should remain under any suspicion
September 2010: Reports surface that police seek to re-interview JonBenet's brother Burke, who had been 9 at the time of her death, as they continue to investigate the death
July 21, 2011: John Ramsey remarries to Jan Rousseaux, 53, a designer
June 14, 2012: A. James Kolar, who worked as an investigator in the DA's Office, writes in a new book that the Ramsey family 'may have been involved at least as an accessory after the fact'
October 23, 2013: Judge rules that the court will release grand jury indictment about the Ramseys
October 25, 2013: Indictment is released, revealing that in 1999 it accused the Ramseys of two counts each of child abuse resulting in death in connection to the first-degree murder of JonBenet

It's always worth seeing things from a different perspective!
I don't suppose though that it's any worse than some of the stories that appear in the mainstream media.
P.S. Having attempted to read it, I've changed my mind. It is worse - dreadful trashy language and referring to this poor child as a "pint-sized blonde" -

Re: The murder of JonBenet Ramsey
That poor child was objectified... by her own parents...at a very young age. When someone is objectified they are seen as quite literally 'an object'. That is to say a person without feelings and emotions. Such a person does not exist. Yes - sometimes people suppress their natural emotions for whatever reasons but that does not mean the don't exist.
