Am I being totally paranoid or affected by the heat worse than usual? Does anyone else think that there is a possibility that April wasn't pregnant and has not had a baby?
If the reports of their profiles on certain social media sites are true, then I am astonished she would even allow herself the chance of becoming pregnant because of the risk.
This whole case has seemed very strange to me since the early day

Really don't think this member will last long on the Corrie site:
Mot Ley How do you know she's Corries? With the number of s3x partners they both had, I'd get a dna test done.

Yes, he or she will soon be out of the door but it is a question that needs to be asked tactfully and then answered.

I`ve thought that from the beginning considering they were swapping around partners and living quite a debauched life - wouldn`t you at least be on the pill?
Maybe the mother and N concocted this little plan between them as a way of getting Corrie to grow up or at least start acting like a man rather than a bi. But it backfired big time and Corrie had to escape. It`s an age old story.

I don't know; it doesn't sound as if they were serious about each other - not on an exclusive basis that's for sure - would April have wanted to tie down someone who maybe was just one of many casual relationships?

Re: The Mystery of Corrie McKeague
The thing is Andrew, Martin says he knew that April was pregnant on 28Sep because N told him at her house and also that April had told Corrie on the 18th. ( they spent that weekend in London together) I'm guessing M agreed to keep it from going public at that time, quite rightly but when A and N did the interview and he heard A say that C didn't know, he decided to set the record straight. I think he gave his notes to SP then or perhaps when the concert was announced as he was sick of the lies.Andrew wrote:I think they were both seeing other people (which I believe was admitted). She says to Corrie that she's pregnant but doesn't know who the father is. Corrie relays that back to his father then with something along the lines of I think I've got someone pregnant. He then goes missing.
Mum and GF try and flush out Corrie in the early days with the 'going to be a father' stuff incase he did go AWOL. Then stick to the Corrie is the father script without concrete proof that he actually is and can't really go back on the little white lie that they've told.
So yes pregnant, yes she had the baby but a strong possibility that Corrie isn't the father.
Imo etc.
I also think the 1 week delay in announcing the birth is for dna results. Looks like it must be C's child.

Re: The Mystery of Corrie McKeague
Well chirps I suppose AO could have mentioned to C her period was late on the 18 September and that became "she told C she was pregnant" when related to MM? By 28th maybe AO had done a test and confirmed the pregnancy to NU. That would make sense going by the dates I suppose. But if it's all straightforward why not just make it clear ?
Your comment about the dna test having been done before the announcement makes a lot of sense.

That could well be the case Bluebell. A fright may have become a fact and I'm sure N grilled A about it all. Her worst fears may have been realised but it could be that Corrie hadn't been told for sure just she might be.
All very weird even so because it could be a significant factor in his mood and actions that night. Even if not awol, he could have been ott drunk to blot it out and not as alert as you might expect from a forces person.
I reckon there were 2 reasons the pregnancy was hidden as long as possible. Did N wonder about paternity and would it have detracted from the search?

Re:the Mystery of Corrie Mckeague.
Just been having a look at some posts on the 'Find Corrie' fb site from a few days ago (don't read often). I now get the feeling we are on a wild goose chase, but for what reason,so many contradictions that beggar belief.Again just my thoughts.

The search at the landfill continues, and will continue next week. At this time Suffolk Police are finding items of rubbish that have either locations and/or dates on them consistent with the rubbish that would have been lifted from Bury St Edmunds on the night Corrie went missing, along with the tachograph and GPS analysis they have carried out which pin points the location of the cab dumping the rubbish into the landfill cell, It shows they are still looking in the right area.
The process the police are using, without going into to much detail, is They pick an amount of rubbish up with heavy mechanical machinery and then lay it on the ground for the search team police officers to rake through, looking for Corrie, but also looking for items as small as his keys or phone. whilst doing this they continue to look for Greggs branded rubbish along with items that can date and give a location, this all takes time.
However it does mean they would not miss Corrie if he is there. All though this sounds like a basic and simple way of searching It, so many other possible things have been considered and a huge amount of work has been carried out to ascertain there viability such as probes for certain gases, ground penetrating radar, specialist dogs have been used where appropriate.
We still feel confident that if Corrie is in the landfill the methods Suffolk Police are using will find him.
The police continue to carry out other lines of enquiry, such as following up on possible witnesses, whilst this search continues. At this time there main focus and strongest line of enquiry is the search of the landfill.
I have spoken to SULSAR about areas that may need searched, should Corrie not be found in the landfill and although I know hundreds of you will offer to help again, it hopefully will not be required as at the moment it is only discussions.
We are still trying to arrange something to be able to bring us all together, for myself and the boys to be able to meet you and personally thank you and raise funds for SULSAR. I will post as soon as we have it arranged.
We never imagined that we would still be here after all this time, In my heart I do not believe we would be here without your continued presence and support for us all. To each and every single one of you, thank you, thank you from the very bottom of my heart. Nicola, Makeyan, Corrie and Darroch x x x x

Re: The Mystery of Corrie McKeague
How strange. Just clicked on the link as well. I think the same thing happened not so long ago when posted a Mirror link as well. Bizarre.
It's just a new article about the baby etc.
If you Google 'Corrie Mckeague' then you'll see it.

At last a proper baby photo rather than a selfie of AO with baby in the background. (In mirror.co.uk)

She wrote in a Facebook post today: 'Hopefully, everyone who has had any doubt about the nonsense being told about Corrie knowing April was pregnant, will have been able to work out that it's physically impossible for April to have known she was pregnant at the time Corrie went missing.

Yes, I noticed that. That does certainly seem to be true.
These articles are a bit OTT in my view on a nauseatingly sweet level.

A photo taken clearly when Corrie was much younger.
This case is certainly like the McCanns with the amount of pointless repetitious stories that are generated.

Sloppy journalism yet again. What N actually said was this:Andrew wrote:http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/corrie-mckeagues-mother-believes-missing-10689245
She thinks they'll find him today.
Due to the rubbish that is being found, if Corrie is in this landfill he could literally be found tomorrow.
Why cut off the last word? Oh yes! It means you can cut and paste then sensationalise the words.

I try to write an update whenever we have news that helps you all understand where we are in the search to find Corrie.
It is difficult though to write something new when the same search continues.
What we found out this week though, is I have been mistaken in my understanding of the search. I will try to explain this.
The area the police are searching in the landfill is known as a "cell" this is a circular bowl shaped area. It was my understanding that the police had a smaller area left to search towards the edges of one side of this cell after the GPS and tachograph analysis was completed and showed very accurately where the cab of the lorry parked to dump the rubbish within the cell. This is Where I have misunderstood things.
My apologies for the analogy i am using here but i can't think of a simpler way to explain this.
if you were to imagine a football cut in half and filled with rubbish, This is what I understood to be the cell, however the reality is if you were to get a medicine ball and cut that in half and place the football inside it, it is actually the edges of the medicine ball thats the edges of the entire cell.
The police have searched through the rubbish in the football.
To empty the football shaped area the were able to say this may take about 10 weeks. (which it roughly did).
and as they got to the edges they could see the dates of the rubbish was going back far to early, prior to when Corrie disappeared.
On one side however (the area of the GPS analysis) the rubbish is still being found with dates and locations to show they are still in the correct area so they are slowly working their way back to the edges of the entire cell (the edges of the medicine ball). So the area they are searching is still the same depth as the middle of the cell as they are no where near the edges yet which means this will take far longer to search than I first understood.
Due to the rubbish that is being found, if Corrie is in this landfill he could literally be found tomorrow.
So we continue to wait for the phone call.
The Police will continue to search this area of the landfill until they either find Corrie or the rubbish starts clearly and consistently showing it has gone back too far in date ranges, this is why no completion date can be given as this is reviewed daily/weekly. Our thanks to the individual officers carrying this task out is immeasurable, I pray this search comes to an end for them and us soon.
Thank you all so very much for all your support. Nicola Makeyan, Corrie, Darroch and our families x x x x
